Free Music Review: A mediocre album with enhanced content...should have been the first time out!

This isn't one of Paul's best albums...by a long shot. I can understand why they would put out this version as the bonus DVD makes it worthwhile to buy but I do feel like I'm being played. Its one thing for an album that has been out for years on CD to be re-released ..re-mastered and with bonus content...I look forward to that ..but this is SO soon that it was obviously part of a marketing ploy/plan/scheme from the start and that stinks.
The biggest problem is that while this is sure to get folks who didn't buy intitally to take a chance and its a good deal...it slaps in the face all the loyal fans who bought it when it was first released in either the normal or DELUXE format...both of which are surpassed by this release...it just doesn't treat right the people who really support the music.

So his crappy mastered disc of better than average Macca material was falling off on sales, let's stick it to the loyal long-time fans once again. Paul just keeps pounding another nail into the coffin of his original fan base, until no one will care about him at all anymore. Combine this cheap ploy to re-sell the same album to the same people who bought it just a few months ago, with his old trick redone of releasing multiple format singles with exclusive different B-sides so everyone has to buy 3 or 4 versions of the same song to get all the tracks. Re-buying the same basic stuff 5 times to get what should have been included on at MOST 2 different releases?! Greedy Bastard. I hope most people get it free off the internet--serves him right.Free Music Review: Great, unless you already bought it.

I think we all agree this is another excellent album from Sir Paul. The problem is that many of us feel ripped off because we now have to repurchase it to get the DVD material.
Can I suggest to Macca and co. that those of us who got the original release use our "proof of purchase" tags to get a discounted DVD.

I loved this album. The songs are there, one of Paul's finest. But this new 'practice' is, to put it mildly, highway robbery. They released the album way back then in 2 formats: the regular and the deluxe edition. All big Macca fans, bought the deluxe edition of course. How does Macca pay our loyalty? By waiting a few months and releasing an expanded Deluxe edition of the same album, with a few extra tracks.
Does thi$ make any $en$e to you? Cmon Paul, why we have to pay the price of your divorce? Next time do a prenup instead of making us fans pay for it!
