Come on, folks. Four stars? Five? You would give this pathetic effort the same rating as Band on the Run? Press to Play is possibly the worst album McCartney ever unleashed on the public. It was supposed to be one of many "Macca is back" albums, a return to form. Now even Paul himself admits it's rubbish. The melodies are overwhelmingly insipid and forgettable. Even tuneless. We're supposed to be reviewing the CD, not the man. You can love Paul and still be of the opinion that this album is a foul heap.
