I'm not quite sure why Paul McCartney released this. In terms of audio, 4 track EP's didn't do well in America-that's why there's a boxful of UK Beatles' EP's and only perhaps 2 American Beatle EP's. Hearing two tracks from "Memory Almost Full" performed live is worthwhile, but one track-the Grammy nominated one, "That Was Me" may be interesting to McCartney from an autobiographical point of view-but to the listener, it's a drag.
She was just 17 at the end on 1962, but by now she's 63. Yes, you, or you and John wrote a good song back then, and it's lasted-but like "Hey Jude", "Live and Let Die", "Maybe I'm Amazed", and "Let it Be"-you're playing the songs into the ground. I don't want you leaving this world, dying from over-exposure. There was a time I would have killed to hear "Hey Jude" live again-after it was performed on CBS in 68. Now, if I hear it live again-I just turn it off. There are so many songs you COULD perform that would make things a little different-like "Warm and Beautiful"-like "One of these Days" that are right up there with the other tunes-they just never got the airplay. Now go back to your room, and rehearse something you haven't performed live 100 times before. Thank you.

The performance is great, the musicianship, flawless.
The recording production is, on the other hand, lacking. Too much bass, way too much volume.
I guess you had to be there.
BTW Best Buy's charging $9.98 for this. Isn't a list price supposed to be universal?
