Free Music Notes for Cream Ibiza: Mixed By Paul Van Dyk

Free Music Review: Waiting for next album :)
Hit: 5 Stars

I totally agree with tom and others review.
when i first got this CD i kinda did not enjoy it much. CD one beginning and end was nice
i was all lost in between.
CD 2 started well + Kuff dam track was nice track 6 and 7 were very powerful too. so i got stuck to cd 2. The initial impression for me was that its not as good as any other PVD albums like reflections, out there , in-between, POD vol2 etc.. .
but later after listening to it over sometime i realized the new style and melody in it and the tracks were beautifully mixed plus CD 2 gives a very powerful beats and CD 1 has a lovely house type transition of tracks which now i love the most. it took little bit time to accept the change but both CD's are excellent and nice compilation by PVD + the more you listen to them the more you would want to listen them again. Now i am eagerly waiting for the next one.

Free Music Review: Best CD compilation 08
Hit: 5 Stars

This is new Paul van Dyk. What I like about this artist is that each of his cd mix compilations is different and great at the same time. For those who know The Politics of Dancing, The Politics of Danicng 2 be ready for new PvD! Cream Ibiza Paul van Dyk is mixture of trance, house, and dance. When I first listened to CD #1 it remind me of afterhours, but it has a lot of well mixed house tracks + some trance tracks and it is very energetic. You could definitelly feel there atmosphere of this world famous club/island. CD # 2 is what you expect from this artist. Those who have seen him life know what I'm talking about...:)! It's trance and especially last 8-10 tracks are sick! Knowing that PvD is not a type of artist who would make CD's just for number and $ you would really enjoy it. This is a master, who always will surprise every fan of electronic music in a good way of course!

Free Music Review: Both CD's are great!
Hit: 5 Stars

I've listened to both CD's in this compilation a few times, and I must say I like them both a lot. They are different styles though. The first is definitely more house-type music. My first reaction to it was "is this PVD?". I'm used to the crisp, trance-like beat from his previous cds - it's definitely a bit different than his previous compilation CDs. However, the more I listen to it the more I like it, and the tempo and beat pick it up towards the end. I like how CD1 ends with PVD's own "New York City." CD2 is the PVD I've come to expect - great tracks with a great beat. Not sure if the mix is better than Tiesto's ISOS 7 I purchased earlier this year, but I'm definitely happy with this purchase.

Free Music Review: Versatile Yet Intense
Hit: 5 Stars

PVD has done it again - Cream is a definining piece of work in that he's intentionally separated his album into two - disc 1 vectors with his recent re-embrace of the house scene while at once reminding his fans that, in disc 2, he's not about to lose his edge on the progressive trance front. This is great for tranceheads like myself, offering me a house alternative that I would otherwise not have entertained on my own. PVD needs to come back to LA before the year ends - Montser Massive did't count - I missed it. :(

Free Music Review: no longer in "between"
Hit: 5 Stars

I was really scared when i listened to in between last year,I thought Paul van Dyke just lost it.To me it was a really cheap album like Britney Spears.
fortunately Cream reminds me of the best Paul van
Dyke can be,it's like being at Amnesia or Space Miami, the first cd is more progressive house, not my style but pretty good tracks, the second cd is real trance ,very nice ,it's what you expect.
I think it is one of the best mix Paul Van Dyke has done so far.
See you soon at Space...
