Free Music Review: THE BEST OF THE BEST. DONE BY THE BEST Hit: 5 Stars
Paul Williams has written love songs that seem to be the most personal and deep from the heart and soul. He truly is gifted. This collection of his songs includes all of his songs that have been so beautifully covered by The Carpenters and Three Dog night, as well as many, very many others. It also includes the only song Barbra Streisand wrote with Paul Williams,"Evergreen". I wish this collection had included, "With One More Look At You", other than that, this is a fabulous collection. This can really set the mood. If you are failing at your own feeble attempts with your lady, put this in. Paul Williams seems to say what we all feel and mean to say.

This really brought me back. I'm 62 and still love the '70's music - although Paul's songs are timeless. And as for his voice? Since when do songwriters necessary have fabulous singing voices? Anyone listen to Burt Bacharach lately? eeeeek! Don't know what put this wonderful entertainer in my mind, but am so glad it did 'cause it spurred me to buy this CD. Lovely.

I have always been a fan of Paul Williams and was delighted to find this

Free Music Review: paul williams at his finest Hit: 5 Stars
this is an absolutely must have collection for anyone who is a fan of this remarkable talent... with apologies to paul, he's knows he's "no cole porter, he's noticeably shorter"... but hearing such melodies as "rainy days and mondays", "you and me against the world", and "lucky old sun" sung by paul is really sweet and touching. enjoy!
