Unlike many of the reviewers here, I ordered this because I wanted another soft jazz Christmas CD to complement my rather esoteric mix of Christmas music. The remixed CD delivers great sound and everyone who heard this CD was totally enchanted. This CD encompasses my childhood in its tracks and I remember looking forward to the special being on television every year. The music makes me think of Linus and how I always enjoyed his Piano playing.
I now have th CD to put on during the Christmas season and enjoy the music. This one gets played often during that time of year.

My Yahoo Music Engine allows me to listen to this reissue for free and I just found out that O-Tannenbaum has added a short piano intro before hearing the first chords and notes which originally opened the musical piece. That's because the piano intro was cut from the original version before releasing it to LP and Cassette decades ago.Free Music Review: Linda's review

This is a CD I have always wanted and desired the soundtrack from day one as a young child. I totally love it and every track on it. Glad to have the original CD as part of my collection. I bought this for my wife for one of her Christmas Presents. She couldn't wait and played it as soon as it arrived. We both love it and will play it over and over.
Guaraldi left us far too early.
