L2l is a great cd. Although its not new material like their other 5 main releases, it lives up to pearl jams standards. And being the best band of all time, they have very high standards. The best versions of songs on the album are Daughter and F*ckin Up. Daughter is so great on the cd because of the Rockin in the free world and WMA improvs. F*ckin up is just a frikkin amazing song. This is defenataly an amazing cd worth buying. I was so exited that i went out and bought it the day before the release date! And continuing with the "subliminal" stuff like the secret insignia on no code and their being a yield sign in ever Yield pic, the cover of L2l has many things that you should look for: including stone, eddy, a skull, a shadow of mike, a mic stand, and a guitar. GO BUY IT! EDDIE VEDDER SAYS SO! Every song on the CD is great including a never realeased improv before mfc. Its a great improv titled, "untitled." Reading these reviews is making me sick. Whoever thinks that Alive was their best song ever obviously hasn't even bothered to listen to the following six studio albums. Pearl jam has succeeded in staying around so long because they are forever changing. Who would keep buying albums if they all basically sounded the same? Ten was good, but if you don't listen to anything beyond that--well, my friend, it saddens me. This album can give you some introspect into what you are missing. In my opinion, almost every pearl jam song is a "greatest hit", so you could call this a forshortened greatest hits album. Believe me, you WILL NOT be disapointed!! I'm sure that if you don't already own every album, after listening to this small sample of their talent, you will want to run out and buy everything you can get your hands on. If only you could feel the energy that a Pearl Jam show creates. Buy this album now, listen to it for one week and I guarantee you will be hungry for more.Free Music Review: How couldn't you love it? This album is awesome, and I highly recomend it. It includes a compilation of sixteen of the groups great songs on one album (all LIVE)! If you haven't listened to Pearl Jam before; first, your missing out, and second, this album is a great place to start listening. I promise you'll love it. If your already a fan this album will make a great addition to your collection, but then again you probably know that you can't go wrong with Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam has a unique sound, not comparable to other groups. It won't take you long to grow to love their music and become an avid fan! The Groups vocalist, Ed Vedder, has an unparalleled voice that most listeners grow to love. Some of my personal favorite tracks on the album include; Daughter, Even Flow and Better Man. However, the hits don't stop here. I, for one, love every track on the album. I bought "Live on Two Legs" at midnight on the night of its release. I have anticipated the album since the first time i heard a mention of a forthcoming live album - and, as always, the album surpassed my expectations... The band sounds tight, the selections are classic, the renditions meet, and often surpass, the original studio recording. I'm hoping they'll release another live album soon with more of their stuff, and some of the rarities from the tour (I was really hoping it'd end with "Baba O'Riley" rather than "F*ckin' Up") but everything on the album fits perfectly. I was saddened when it came to an end, some five minutes ago... I'm going to go listen to it again, something I forsee doing for quite some time... Pearl Jam live is the best way to hear them, and if you can't make a concert every day, this compilation will tide you over till they come your way again.Free Music Review: live on two legs?! i got to say that is a great cd to begin the journey of knowing pearl jam, why?, because i start that way; long ago i ask my mom to give me this cd for x-mas because even flow was on it, when i listen the cd for the very first time the only song that i listen to was even flow, then i started to listen the rest of the cd and something hits me like "this is it" so after i started to buy the discography and here i am, i truly thanks the masterminds behind this:eddie with his mindblowing lyrics
mike with his solos
stone with his riffs
jeff with his playful way to play the bass
and to matt for joining this great family which his name is PEARL JAM!!!!!!!!!
