i've always craved Pearl Jam music. Well, when 10 first came out, honestly it didn't impress me that much. Maybe all the frat boys at UTexas blaring it at keggers put a bad taste in my mouth.
but then vs. came out. and with Go, I went. Their stuff has enthralled me until Yield, I pretty much wrote them off as being done.
Boy was I wrong - i just recently discovred Live on Two Legs - I'm not a big "live" album person yet this thing gripped me. Most live albums there's too much feedback, yelps, and "c'mon sing this with me" that kills the feeling of the songs. But not with Edie Vedder - the man simply supercedes all singers I've ever heard since Odetta. She's the only other voice out there that sounds so alive.

Wow I got this CD for my birthday this year and it is AMAZING. I haven't been a Pearl Jam fan for a really long time but I know good music when I hear it. If you missed the tour like I did, then this is a must-have addition to your musical collection. (Even if you DID go to the tour you should buy it!!) Eddie's voice is just indescribable on the CD. "Off He Goes", "Courdoroy" "Daughter" "Nothingman" "Red Mosquito" and "Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town" are my faves but the previously unreleased track "F*ckin' Up" is great, too. Wow. this album is such inspiration to me and it should be for you, too. ( P.S.-I love you Eddie!)Free Music Review: Finally ........ the best rock band ever ........live ......

Another hit by the greatest band another effort live this time, for pearl jam lovers, now the chance is there to check out some great songs played live ........ a decent live CD after a lot of unofficial ones ......... "black" "nothing man" "better man" "given to fly" "Hail Hail" and lot of other great songs with the live flavor ...... and with the amazing voice of Mr. Eddie Vedder, for pearl jam lovers it's another great record, for other rockers it's a chance to check out probably the best guys that can performe live shows .......don't miss itFree Music Review: Best live pearl jam album

I have been very impressed with this live album since the first time that i heard it about eight years ago. I got really burned-out from the constant overplay of songs from the TEN album around 7th grade and that was over TEN years ago. So, now, i downright can't stand the radio songs. This live album is absolutely perfect. It has the songs that i wish the 3 disc live albums had, and they are played and sang the way i like. That being said, I highly recommend this album to anyone: From the flannel wearing grunge junkies, to the polo wearing frat kids trying to learn a tune to play to the ladies. While it may not be perfect, Live on Two Legs is quite possibly the best single live cd Pearl Jam could have made. It covers a vast range of some of their best works, adds a great new song in "F*ckin' Up", and generally gives listeners the next best thing to actually being at a concert. While every Pearl Jam fan will miss at least a few personal favorites, there's simply no way you can fit all of the excellent material Pearl Jam has into 1 cd, or probably even 2. All in all though, Live on Two Legs is an excellent cd and a worthy addition to the collection of any Pearl Jam fan, new or old.
