Free Music Notes for Lost Dogs

Free Music Review: Can't get enough pearl jam
Hit: 5 Stars

I thought this album was fantastic. To start off i don't remeber the last time i payed for a double cd with 30 songs in total for under 23$ Canadian new. But back to the CD, this is full of great song after great song. Some of the highlights for me include Sad, Don't gimme no lip,Hold On, Fatal and Otherside, but i like all the other tracks almost equally. When i first heard of a b sides and rareities album, i thought i would have heard most of the songs before, but i had only actually heard 5 (yellow ledbetter, footsteps, dirty frank, otherside, and last kiss), and i think only 8 of them have actually been released(but don't quote me on that). Overall this is an amazing album and any pearl jam fan will want to pick it up.

Free Music Review: Unreleased tracks finally released for all to enjoy
Hit: 5 Stars

Pearl Jam has compiled a lot of hit songs through their tenure. With Lost Dogs, the fans are given a treat beyond belief; B-sides that are not filler tracks. A great double CD set that covers thier long standing in the grunge music scene. If you like them as much as I do I think you will love Lost Dogs. Many of the songs I noticed are really hard edged and remind me of their earlier releases like Ten and Vs. Other songs on here are also psychadelic and drifting. I think a long time from now people will be talking about this band, and also this very dual CD set. I wasn't a big overall Pearl Jam fan but Lost Dogs has me liking them more than ever. I give it five stars for that reason.

Free Music Review: Pearl Jam And Nirvana our like the best bands of all time
Hit: 5 Stars

okay if you like nirvana you will like Pearl Jam to. Though I wouldnt recomend this if you are just getting into Pearl Jam it is a great album, ( i would get "Ten" if you where getting into PJ). This Album is b-sides, unrealeased songs. The best two songs are Yellow Ledbetter and Last Kiss.

This is a two disk set filled with great songs ( even though on most of them you can't understand Eddie Vedders Lyrics like on Yellow Ledbetter. )

Pearl Jam is the second best band to emerge from the Seattle Grunge scene ( after Nirvana ). Eddie Vedder is probly one of the best vocalist in rock history (or from the 90's).

This is a great cd and it's worth what you pay for.

Free Music Review: Lost Dogs sounds more like Lost Hits!
Hit: 5 Stars

To say that "Lost Dogs" the new release from the quintessential rock band of the 90's and today is a collection of B-sides and cut material is impossible and redundant. Fact of the matter is Lost Dogs sounds and feels like vintage Pearl Jam which we all know and love so well...the feeling you get when you hear Eddie's voice from the early 90's, in songs you've never heard...is a feeling I haven't had for a while. Elation and wonder comes to mind...this album is amazing the 1st disc ROCKS and the 2nd disc Acousticly ROLLS...what a journey, many years and cheers to you Pearl Jam, thanks for the incredible talent and inspiration.

Free Music Review: I've been playing it for the last week
Hit: 5 Stars

After my flatmate got this cd I immediately asked me to get one for me as well. Since then I have been listening to it pretty much constantly. Pearl Jam has always been my favourite band, so I was bound to like the cd anyway, but nevertheless I have loved every single song on Lost Dogs.

I agree that including songs such as I got ID, Leatherman, Long road, etc would have been helpful, since even if they can be downloaded it would be nice to have them on the one cd.

Stand out songs on Lost Dogs for me are Sad, Alone, Hold on, yellow ledbetter, footsteps, wash, dirty frank, brother... there really isn't any songs that I'd skip.
