Free Music Notes for Lost DogsFree Music Review: Hard to imagine Hit: 5 Stars
The title to a song on the 2nd CD can resume the album. It's hard to imagine that these guys could get any better. But again they surprise you. A collection of songs lost among tapes and albums that now deserve (very rightly) their own album. Ranging from the early days until Riot Act these songs will blow you away. "Leavin Here", "Hold On", "Fatal", the classic "Footsteps", are some examples how music can be expressive in emotions, feelings, and how 5 guys can make great music. Definetly a must in any collection.
Free Music Review: Gremmie out of Control Hit: 5 Stars
I can't believe how GREAT this CD is. Everytime I listen to it I can't help but think that Eddie is in the room with me singing to me in a private concert. The only Gremmie that is out of control is in my pants when I listen to this great tracks. We don't get these great tracks of music in Malta so it's a real treat to order it on line. I only wish that the duet of Mansoor E Ramsewer and Ed Vedder was on this great disc. Just like Eddie I have opinions on everything from things Greeks in the Navy to cutting my hair in a redicoulous way.
Free Music Review: Lost Pearls Hit: 5 Stars
The dogs are indeed pearls in this rarities and b-sides Pearl Jam album. In a short review, Lost Dogs is the best album that the seattle band realize in many years and have to get a place in the shelf - a special one. There are too many good songs that you will have difficulty in pick one for yourself.
In Lost Dogs the band pass its life through all the 90s, since the early years with Ten and Vs, passing through the void that inspire No Code and Binaural, and finally arriving in the 2000s with the maturity of Riot Act. Essential.
Free Music Review: The best Pearl Jam album ever Hit: 5 Stars
I am not a great Pearl Jam fan, although I own all their studio albums and a few live albums, but I can easily say that this is their best album ever. I can't believe and understand why these selections never made it to an album. They're really good. It's a great selection, the songs are versatile as opposed to some of their other albums. I love both CDs. I can't get tired of it. It's also a great introduction to Pearl Jam, even though it doesn't have the hits. I prefer this kind of collection than a best of with the hits.
Free Music Review: one of my favorite pearl jam albums Hit: 5 Stars
This two-disc set is a great collection. As others have noted, the first disc is more lively and fast-paced, while the second is full of ballads and slow-paced songs. The first disc naturally captured my ear more quickly than the 2nd due to the stronger beats. While at first I found the 2nd one to be a bit on the dull side, it certainly has grown on me and now I think I enjoy it more than the 1st: it seems to have more "soul" to it and more skilled. Basically the two discs are a perfect ying-yang if you ask me.
