Free Music Review: A Quick Look in the "Rearviewmirror"
Hit: 5 Stars

First off, every single Pearl Jam album is packed full of wonderful, amazing music. Therefore, there can be no exception here. As a hardcore Pearl Jam fan, it is certain that I have some favorites that weren't "hits" by Epic's standards, but I don't really feel disappointed that they were left off; after all, the true fans can keep "Porch", "Indifference", "Whipping", "Lukin", "Low Light", "Gods Dice", and "All or None" (as well as so, so many freakin' others) to ourselves. Besides, any upright Pearl Jam fan will own their favorites already and won't necessarily need this album. However, from a collector's standpoint, it's still a must have. This album also appeals to the not-so-hardcore fans in that it offers basically only what radio stations play or might have played at one time; no outlandish surprises here.

Any which way you look at it though, "Rearviewmirror" is no less than Pearl Jam at its most exceptional. No let down here.

Free Music Review: Good representation of the band.

Most of pearl jam's more popular song's are represented here and also a few fan favorites like Breath, State of Love and Trust. Normally I'm not a big fan of greatest hits but pj did make this worth buying for the fan that already has the songs on the popular albums by including the aforementioned songs and also song's like Man of The Hour, Last Kiss, Yellow Ledbetter. If you're a new fan this a great place to start. And old fan's may enjoy the remix's. (just sound remixes). It is odd that there is no Tremor Christ on here as it was their second most successful single ever. And the absence of In My Tree and Present Tense is nearly inexcusable. All in all though it is a good collection at a great price from one of the best band's in the world so you really can't go wrong with picking this one up and get the marvelous "Lost Dogs" while you're at it.

Obviously this is only my humble opinion, but, YOU ARE A HUGE NERD. Obviously you have no musical sense whatsoever and feel it is ok to praise that garbage you listed, while knocking arguably the best band of the last 15 years. Pearl Jam has outlasted Nirvana and Creed and will outlast all those other cheap Pearl Jam knock-offs you chose to include as part of your review. You wouldn't know good music if it skeeted on your face. With the exception of Nirvana (which is still extremely overrated in my opinion), you have probably the worst music taste I could imagine. You should probably start listening to Li'l John and the Yin-Yang Twins if you wish to cover the worst of both rock and rap. Take it sleazy.

P.S. For the real Pearl Jam fans who like rap too, check out M.F. Doom. He's the best rapper I've ever heard.

I have been listening to Pearl Jam since Live on Two Legs. I heard their songs on the radio, but never bothered to pick up any of their albums. A friend I was working w/ at the time brought in Live on Two Legs one day and after that, I was hooked. I couldn't believe how much energy these guys release through their music. I went out and bought some used copies of Ten and VS and realized what I missed during the early 90's. I proceeded to purchase all of their other albums and attend every concert that has been in my area. This album is great for starters, as it is in chronological order. You get to see how they matured as a band (even though I enjoy their earlier music more). If you like this album, go try to pick up some live bootlegs or the Touring Band 2000 DVD. You haven't experienced PJ until you see/hear them live.

Free Music Review: ANOTHER HILARIOUS EDITORIAL AMAZON REVIEW FOR PJ FANS
Hit: 5 Stars

"Stone Gossard-Mike McReady fueled hard rock dramatics (including such early career landmarks as "Jeremy," "Alive" and "Even Flow" alongside more aggressive fare like "I Got the Sh-t Down" and "Spin the Black Circle") and a "Down" side that focuses more on Eddie Vedder's brooding, often dark ballads ("Old Woman..," "

....'I Got the Sh-t Down'.... ?

lmao...

Thanks amazon for writing a review where

1) You didn't even know the name of the song
2) You mentioned 'Nirvana' again, in another review for a PJ album... is this the 10th time you've done this?
3) You spelt McCready's name wrong

- Amazondotcom... if you're gonna do a poor job at doing reviews for PJs albums, don't even bother to do them, leave it to the PJ fans
