Free Music Review: Looking thru this mirror
Hit: 4 Stars

Good greatest hit compilation here. Most recomending for those who don't want the other albums by these guys, just get this, this is all you need to understand Pearl Jam. Don't get me wrong, I fell in love with these guys when they first came out, just like the other million of us out there. But this album has all that there is to offer from the Pearl like my favorites in order on the album:
Jeremy
Corduroy
Not For You
Do The Evolution
Black
Daughter
Betterman
Nothing As It Seems
and Yellow Ledbetter
see what I mean, good selections, all on two discs.

Free Music Review: 4 1/2 - Severly Excellent Compliation
Hit: 5 Stars

Only problems are that it's missing some of my favorites (Satan's Bed, Brain of J, Love Boat Captain, Insignificance, Glorified G, Deep, Release), and that Once is edited, other than that, it's superb/perfect. Track ratings:

Upside:

1. Once (8/10)
2. Alive (10/10)
3. Evenflow (10/10)
4. Jeremy (10/10)
5. State of Love and Trust (9/10)

13. I Got ID (8/10)
14. Hail Hail (10/10)
15. Do the Evolution (9/10)
16. Save You (10/10)

Downside:

1. Black (10/10)
2. Breath (10/10)
3. Daughter (9/10)
4. Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town (10/10)

Highly recommended to starters of Pearl Jam! I either recommend this, Ten, or Vs. Can't go wrong with any of the 3.

Free Music Review: Ignore the moron below
Hit: 5 Stars

Ignore the idiot below, the fact that he thinks Tool are a grunge band shows that he clearly knows nothing about music.

Free Music Review: Okay, here's the deal...
Hit: 1 Stars

There were six really significant grunge bands - Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Tool, and Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam were by far the cruddiest, most generic and unoriginal, and boring band of those six. Eddie Vedder has a terrible voice, the guitar work is nothing special, and the songwriting is crap. Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains are only slightly better. It's the last three bands - Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Tool, that make grunge a legitimate form of music, and not a fad. Avoid this and go listen to METAL! Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple make Pearl Jam seem like a joke.

Free Music Review: Never perfect
Hit: 5 Stars

Pearl Jam will be regarded as one of the top 20 bands ever in my book. If you liked some of their singles, you'll enjoy this album. But if you really enjoy it, then I suggest you go pick up 'Vs.', 'Ten', and 'No Code'. These albums arguably contain some of their best stuff, and will make you realize Pearl Jam had alot more "singles" than the average listener realizes.
