This Cd seems to monopolize my Car stereo... the beats and music are top notch! Mike Patton just seems to work overtime... with all of his bands ex-Faith No more, Mr Bungle, Tomahawk.... etc etc. This with out a doubt is one of his best works. Very hypnotic and grooves throughout. It's like alternative rock mixed with dark hip hop. Gotta hear it to know what I mean. MOJO is definately one of my favs. Check it out especially if you are a Mike Patton fan.Free Music Review: This beat could win me Grammy

This is one of the best records of the year. I love all the tracks on the album, but I must say my favorite is that last track "We're Not Alone" featuring Dub Trio. This song reminds me of some of the best Faith No More songs and it has a great original sound, courtesy of Dub Trio. This is a good cd if you're looking for something different. The beats kinda reminds me of the Gorillaz records but with Mike on vocals it's more interesting. The cd grooves and sounds good in a car or on headphones. Not really a pop record IMO, but compared to other stuff Patton's done I see why ppl say that. Also, this cd has longevity. I've listened to it all the way thru at least 20 times. I still luv it!

This album is crazy awesome...different than your average...well...anything album. For anyone that ever wished Faith No More would pump out some tracks with a funky DJ, then this is your dream come true. Patton's dark, diverse vocals clash with deep hip hop beats to make a truly unique sound. Very in your face, not meant for beddy time...VERY cool graphic design as well...creepy ;o)
