Not Pete's best, but still an essential album to own if you're even remotely interested in Pete Townshend or The Who. This album has two of my Top Ten Townshend Tunes, Keep Me Turning, and Heart To Hang Onto. The album would be worth it just for those two songs, but on top of that you get Misunderstood, and My Baby Gives It Away. And Street In The City is simply sublime. Pete and Ronnie just getting together to rip one off. It works splendidly.
Some nice charachter songs, few rockers, good mix of both their styles. Recommend it even if your not a Who completist.

This album is by no means a "must have." There are one or two great songs, namely "Annie." There are also some pretty good songs. However, much of the album is forgettable. This may be surprising to Who fans, but Pete Townsend's efforts pale in comparrison to Ronnie Lane's. If you are a Townsend fan, stick to his Who albums. If you're a Ronnie Lane fan, you are buying five good songs.
