Free Music Review: We should PAY this guy NOT to MAKE ANY MORE ALBUMS... EVER!!!
Hit: 1 Stars

Seriously.... Not only is he a has-been hack drummer with delusions of being Frank Sinatra or Barry Manilow.... He should have been able to live comfortably on the millions he made with Kiss. He has had more wasted second chances than Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears combined. This guy is tied with Yoko Ono and Cibo Matto for the world record of unlistenable albums released. But the saddest thing is that faithful Kiss fans and obdurate believers still buy these CDs, feeding both Peter's ego and bank account, and then getting a major disappointment when Saint Peter keeps on delivering embarrassingly bad songs instead of anything resembling rock music let alone Kiss. It's time to kill the cat and put the animal to rest. No one with an ounce of musical taste could possibly enjoy this alcoholic ramblings of a failed bum musician. It's time for Peter Criss to accept he wasted his many second chances of being a good drummer in a highly successful band, and to put an end to this agony of defeat. Ringo Starr has made similar crappy albums, but he at least could cash in when he brought the other three to play from time to time, no egos. Charlie Watts made some successful jazz albums, but he never abandoned the Rolling Stones, whose albums pay his bills (not the jazz albums). Even I came to a self-admission, I'll never screw Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan in a threesome or be the next Eric Clapton, and I made peace with myself. Why can't Peter learn?

Free Music Review: NONE FOR ANY
Hit: 1 Stars

I don't need to buy this album judging by the sound bytes and the reviews. I love KISS just as much as the next guy but I wish this album didn't happen and I wish that Peter and KISS left the ballads for Peter to sing, OUT. Beth was a one time success and they tried to recreate it on Psycho Circus...and now this. Paul's Hard Luck Woman was clearly Peter's best vocal in terms of the slow songs. Peter has a voice made for rock. Black Diamond, Nothin' To Lose (backing vocals), Baby Driver, Dirty Livin',...even Mainline are all great songs for Peter. I'm irritated simply by the fact that this album exists. I'm not even impressed with Paul's Live To Win or Gene's ***HOLE. These guys need to learn that none of them are Lennon or McCartney. They need eachother to generate decent music. I find it difficult to make one decent CD out of all of their solo albums collectively. These guys need to listen to their first four or five albums very closely before they get back in the studio or stick to the archive releases which are outstanding. Sorry Peter, I love you as a member of KISS but I wouldn't want this album if it were free.

Free Music Review: WOW..WHAT A LET DOWN....
Hit: 1 Stars

CMON PEOPLE,,, BEING A KISS FAN FOR 30 PLUS YEARS,,,I KNOW I WASNT EXPECTING A KISS RECORD...BUT THIS???? WHERE IS THE UPBEAT TEMPO "SWING SONGS"?...WHERE IS THE ROCKIN R&B TUNES?????? PETER'S SOLO RECORD IN 1978 KICKED!!!! I LOVED IT... IT WAS HONEST AND TRUE AND SHOWED MANY SIDES OF THE CATMAN...INCLUDING SOME GREAT BALLADS....THIS CD??? GUESS IT SHOWS HOW PETE'S VOICE HAS REALLY TAKEN A TURN FOR THE WORSE!!!! IS IT JUST ME OR DOES HE EVEN FIND A KEY THAT SOUNDS TOLERABLE???CMON PETE...YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS....DONCHA STILL WANNA ROCK???....WHERE IS THE "ROCK ME BABY"..OR "HOOKED ON ROCK N ROLL"....OR EVEN THE GREAT TUNE..."YOU MATTER TO ME'....AND FOR GOD'S SAKE..IF YOU'RE GONNA DO A REMAKE...'SEND IN THE CLOWNS"?...ARGHHHHHH....DON'T GET ME WRONG...I LOVE PETE,,,HAVE ALWAYS LOVED IT WHEN HE WAS IN THE BAND...BEING A DRUMMER... I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY INFLUENCED BY HIS STYLE....BUT AS TIME GOES ON... I REALLY REALIZE HOW HIS GREATEST TIME IN THE SPOTLIGHT WAS WHEN HE WAS ANCHORING THE DRUM CHAIR FOR KISS, AND TRADING SOME RASPY SCREAMS AND HOWLS ON "NOTHING TO LOSE"....NO...I WASNT EXPECTING A KISS RECORD.... BUT THIS?????

Free Music Review: BAD BEYOND BELIEF......AVOID THIS LIKE THE PLAGUE
Hit: 1 Stars

I remember back in the day when the KISS solo lps came out....I bought them all of course....loved Ace's, thought Paul's sounded like KISS, really loved parts of Gene's (just thought some of it was strange) and Peter's....oh, it was horrible-as a KISS fan I could not believe how bad it really was. Flash forward 25 years or so and I got that same, revolting full-body shake when I listened to ONE FOR ALL.

Peter's singing is way-off key, lyrics & arrangements sound like a 13 year old girl produced it....just absolutely, horribly god-awful....period. As a KISS fan-I have gotten where I don't care much for Gene, however I recall an interview when Gene referred to Peter's fist solo lp rating it "NO STARS". I would have to say the exact same thing here....NO STARS, (and now that first solo effort sounds like DESTROYER in comparison to ONE FOR ALL) its really that bad. AMAZON makes you use at least one star in its rating system which is why I had to give it one star.

Free Music Review: Time to retire!!
Hit: 1 Stars

Ok. I have been a Kiss fan for as long as I can remember. Ok 1976. I have endured Peter Criss's voice for too long. Ok so he sang a few good songs for Kiss, but nothing he has done solo wise; including the one in Kiss; was any good. This one is the worst. Peter's voice is shot and he is off key most of the time. As far as his drumming goes I was fooled like the rest of you. The stuff he did while he was in Kiss sounded great didn't it. Until we all grew up and realized how many special effects went into his soloing. His drumming is mediocre at best and as he has gotten older it's gotten worse. When he came back for that reunion tour his drumming was terrible. His timing was way off and there is no way he played drums on the "Psycho Circus" album. That was all Eric Singer. Anyway this album is terrible and if you waste your money on it than your as dumb as I was. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and I got ripped. Please retire Peter and give us all a break.
