Free Music Notes for Phenomenon: Music From The Motion PictureFree Music Review: This soundtrack has an unreal feel Hit: 5 Stars
I will always remember 1996 with this soundtrack. I just started seeing this woman at the time. We saw the movie seperately (before we got to know eachother). At first I hated it. She loved it (haircut scene). I thought it was way too predictable. She bought me the soundtrack (CD) because "Change The World" rocked BOTH our worlds. I rented the movie, now I own it. It's one of my all-time favorites. I'll never be able to NOT think of her when I see the movie and listen to the CD. We used to eat sushi by candle light and then *make out* afterwards to this soundtrack. All the songs work together magically. Jewel does a GREAT job on "Faith" just for the record. After four years and five months, we have gone our sperate ways. Debi, I will never be able to listen to this soundtrack and not think of you. Tim better treat you right you wouser.Peace out.
Free Music Review: Loved it then, love it now Hit: 5 Stars
When I was a few years too young to watch the actual movie, I found the soundtrack to "Phenomenon" in my dad's music closet; it has remained my overall favorite CD ever since. Although some reviewers pointed out that it is missing a few things, that doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the music on here. It reminds me more of a "best of..." type collection than a soundtrack. I'm glad that it doesn't have every single arrangement because, honestly, that gets a little old when listening to the entire CD in one sitting. But if you're into collecting for that purpose, I wouldn't recommend this. For people wanting some fantastic music to add to their collection (that in ten years hasn't gotten old for me), put this on your list. At track one you'll be hooked.
Free Music Review: Best soundtrack ever!!! Hit: 5 Stars
I first listened to this soundtrack after watching the movie when I was 12 and I remember loving it. We soon after moved and I lost the movie and soundtrack and was devastated. I found them a few months ago and I listen to the soundtrack all the time now (in fact I'm listening to it now). Every song on this cd is amazing and matches the movie so well. Eric Clapton's song "Change the World" is what drew me to it at first but when I heard Taj Mahal's "Corinna" I actually forgot who Clapton was for a time! This is the best soundtrack ever! 5 stars to whoever put this wonderful soundtrack together.
Free Music Review: Great performances, Great Artists for a Great Movie! Hit: 5 Stars
This is my favorite Soundtrack of all time. There are some great renditions of classic songs as well as an excellent instrumental cut at the end which evokes memories of the movie every time I listen to it. Clapton's song is a classic and I highly recommend listening to both Jewel and Aaron Neville's songs. I used Aaron's song as the song my wife and I first danced to at our wedding. Enjoy!
Free Music Review: Very Spirit lifting Hit: 5 Stars
Sometimes it is not only the words in a song that make it sing it is how it touches your soul/spirit. My spirit is uplifted everytime I close my eyes and really LISTEN. I think this is an outstanding album and I now have 2 copies one for the car and one for the house. I invite more people to take the time enjoy it as it was meant to be enjoyed.
