Free Music Review: Great music from a Great Anime

After seeing FLCL on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, I was awe-strucked by not only the great visuals and great intellectual masterpiece of FLCL, but also by the great music, most of which was done by the Pillows. The music just reminds me so much of the indie music scene, not that mainstream processed cheese crap that dominates the airwaves. I can't say anything else beside BUY THIS ALBUM. It's something that both Anime fans and Garage Alternative fans will enjoy. If you like good alt rock, do yourself a favor and pick this album up, I did and I'm loving it.Free Music Review: Fantastic!

From the opening chords of each song, I was hooked. I am not Japanese, but even though I don't speak a lick of the language, I find myself trying desperately to sing along.
It is great road trip music and cool listening music. The melodies are catchy and the choruses are mostly in English- so even if you have no idea what is really happening in the song, you can mindlessly hum along until the chorus which you can then belt out with utmost energy.
I can't wait for The Pillows to come to the USA! Come on, tour, please?

I was a little skeptical about buying a CD that contained NO english words through the entire thing... but if you truely love music youll appreciate this soundtrack. Most songs dont contain any singing at all, just the tunes you know and love form the anime. All songs done by the Pillows are like a hybrid between the Beatles and Heavy Rock. Its not to much money, and if your a fan of the series this is defenitely worth it! Or if your just in for something new, this is it.Free Music Review: AMAZING

Knowing that there are probably not a lot of FOOLY COOLY fans out there I think that this soundtrack is AMAZING. The music in the series went perfect with the story. The music in the bacjround of a animated show should be uplifting and make you want to dance or hear it again. that is why I rated the soundtrack 5 out of 5. Okay, so this is the first flcl soundtrack(there are 2 in japan)and it's amazing especially if you love the FLCL anime.It's exactly the same as the japanese version but cheaper.For those looking for the longer version of Last Dinosaur with lyrics and Fool On The Planet(I think i can)those are on FLCL soundtrack 2 which hasn't been released in america yet,but probably will be sometime in the near future now that the first one has.
