Free Music Review: It's tha Bomb!!!! It's psykadelic fa sho!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm not usually in to that type of music, but when I was told that Pink Floyd's CD goes with the movie the Wizard of Oz, I had to check it out. I rented the movie and borrowed the album from a friend. Surely enough, they were right!! I was trippin!! The album repeats 3 times throughtout the movie and the music still goes!! Sometimes the words will go and others the music will go. Some of yall trip of the song where the lady is screaming. Well, in the movie that's the part where the tornado comes in the beginning. Another part is where Dorothy is singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in one of the songs there are planes or something so it looks like Dorothy is looking in the sky at them. My favorite part is Munchkinland when Dorothy arrives in Oz. The song "Money" goes to the whole scene! Really folks! This will surely give you something to trip off of. If you want to try it, do it with the origional black and white color version of the movie (Judy Garland), not the 50th Annaversary one. Pop in your CD. At the beginning of the movie there's a lion guy(he appears before the beginning credits). He'll roar 3 times. immediately after the 3rd roar, play your CD. Make sure to set your CD player on repeat. Watch, Listen and Enjoy!! You'll find out that there's no possible way this could have been done on accident. I give props to Pink Floyd for they are true geniouses! Once you've been enlightned, spread this information around. It makes a wonderful conversation piece. For those of you who probably think I'm nuts and don't believe a word I just said, I encourage you to at least try it. I promise, you won't be left dissapointed!! C-Yall!! Your Fellow Pink Floyd Fan

Free Music Review: You can get higher volume, but the quality falls with it.
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a wonderful version of a wonderful album. One of the best things about the Mobile Fidelity CDs is that they allow a far better dynamic range in the music. Most CDs are engineered for maximum volume, at the price of music quality. There is a limit to how loud any sound on a CD can be. To make it sound louder the engineer compresses the sound, making more of the middle level sounds reach this maximum, causing a muddiness that can't be EQ'd out. MFSL Ultradisks will not sound as loud or blown out as a normal CD, and some people can't hear the difference in quality this allows because they're used to listening to garbage. Loudness is not quality, neither is the artificial emphasis that some engineers put on the highs to compensate for the horrible compression that has to be used to make a CD sound louder. The tremendous improvement in imaging this version has is instantly obvious to me. If it isn't loud enough invest in a better pre-amp. Your system isn't as good as you thought it was - just loud.

Free Music Review: It is one of the KEYSTONES in modern music evolution
Hit: 5 Stars

...and you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking, racing around to come up behind you again, the sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, shorter of breath, one day closer to death..

now that is big-time lyrics.

The Dark Side of the Moon is what we call a concept album. All the songs connect to a central idea which in this case is insanity, exploring diferent concepts such as:war, alienation, evolution and life.

Now the music is simply incredible. The blending of sound textures in most of songs (breathe, the great gig in the sky, brain damage...), generating an erotic, relaxing and non-gravity ambient is the reason why I consider this album a keystone of modern music.

It is a master piece in lyrics, music and basically you can understarnd why they were able to come up with "the wall".

Buy it and frame it, it's a must!

Free Music Review: The Best Version of DSOTM Period
Hit: 5 Stars

i originally owned this album on cassette tape years ago when i was a teen, then when the digitally remastered cd came out i bought it, but then my uncle bought the MFSL (Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs) gold cd version and when i listened to it i was amazingly astounded by how much better and more dynamic it sounded compared to my remastered copy. so i eventually bought this version because of that fact. if you can get a MFSL version of any album you're looking for don't look any further because MFSL's digital encoding processes are bar none to any other audio cd manufacturer out there, and that's no bullsh**

Free Music Review: A Perfect Album for a Space Cadet like Yours Truly!
Hit: 5 Stars

I have always been a "space cadet", and I was a little worried when the first track was silent for the first few seconds -- as I have never heard this album before. But I was electrified as to the music and total sound quality! -- especially the first three tracks -- sounds kind of like a spaceship! My favorite track here was "Money" (track 6, of 10) -- and I thought, why not get it in gold! -- if you can. Well, I did. And now, I like 'em all! For best results, listen to the entire CD from beginning to end. It all sounds GR-R-REAT!!! Worth every penny! o:-) !!!
