This recording speaks for itself in terms of production quality; this is a long-standing reference recording. The MFSL Gold CD version of this CD is EXCELLENT. I have been a part of the ultra high-end audio industry for over 30 years and only listen to reference quality systems; this transfer is incredibly well done. There are no gain (volume issues) or any lack of resolution in any area. I don't think the performance advantages over the standard and SACD versions are subtle. Im 38 years old and first heard this album when i was twelve, ive bought it proberly a dozen times in cassette form beacuse ive worn them out. Everybody thinks that Roger Waters was the backbone behind Pink Floyd BUT i say that Dave Gilmoure took Pink Floyd to new heights & surpassed any ecpectation that the group would accomplish greatness.Long Live Pink Floyd & Long Live DSOTM

DSOTM was the first PF experience I had. It is well edited and has earned the title of :Best CD ever!I would recommend this cd to any one who appreciated good music like this(beetles, led zepp., lynard skn., deep purple, etc.). The works of PF are rivaled only by the Wall and select Lynard Skynard titles- maybe the beetles. Buy it and Music Review: Awesome!!! Listening to it now!!!Hit: 5 Stars This is my favorite Pink Floyd disc. I have heard nothing like it before!! Would recommend this disc to anyone who likes real music not that stuff they call music in the "90"'s The music on the disc is just incredible. I don't think anything comes close to the way it was produced or recorded. just awesome!!!

I had many issues of this album. I had it on LP, on ordinary CD, on CD from the Box Set and Japan LP version. I also listen and compared MOFI CD with SACD version. In the end MOFI Gold disc sounds the best. For those who have difficulty hearing I recommend syringing their ears first.
