Free Music Notes for Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's EndFree Music Review: Beyond words Hit: 5 Stars
I can't even explain how I feel about the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks, especially the third disc. I can't imagine how someone can be so talented to be able to connect you to the story through this music, I just really can't understand. "At Wit's End" is definitely a masterpiece, however every single song on this disc, along with all the others are absolutely outstanding. I love soundtracks, but I am aware of Hans's talent, and knowing he was one of the composers of these tracks I knew it would be a win win situation, and I knew I was not to be disappointed. I have never caught myself listening to a soundtrack..over and over.....and over again. Literally, I even watch the movies over and over so that I can listen to the soundtracks on it. Amazing stuff, just like I said, BEYOND WORDS!!
Free Music Review: Ahoy! This be the best of the 3!!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
Brilliant! Zimmer is a genius composer, and with the latest POTC movie Zimmer releases what could be one of his best adventure scores yet! The entire cd is as swashbuckling as the third movie itself and there is never a dull moment on the entire cd. Zimmer brilliantly expands on the original "Pirates" theme, building excitement and emotion with every passing track.
The love theme is beautiful and the last four tracks on the cd will knock your socks off! The only negative is that the cd is too short. Disney is notorious for skimping on their soundtracks when it comes to an original score releases. This soundtrack deserves to be released in its glorious entirety, and I only hope that one day and expanded version of this soundtrack will be released.
Free Music Review: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - A must have soundtrack Hit: 5 Stars
All the hype in recent weeks has been about the new summer blockbusters that are soon to be released, including the third installment of the Pirates trilogy. Not to the realization of many people, music plays an absolute vital part to the success of a movie. Hans Zimmer and his creative score for this movie will put At World's End above the other movies of the summer. From the emotional new love theme presented in "At Wit's End" to the more recognizingly pirate-ish "Drink Up, Me Hearties", this epic story told alone by Zimmer's music will have you listening to each track over and over. The full and powerful sound of the orchestra will suck you into the action and swashbuckling found in Verbinski's three unforgettable films. ARRRRR!!
Free Music Review: Where's the award for Zimmer?! Hit: 5 Stars
This soundtrack is absolutely incredible!
I was sceptible about the turn-out of this film, especially this score. I could care less about Dead Man's Chest, leaving the score flying solo as the only thing great about that film in my opinion. But, then they finish with flying colors! Visually and musically!
Some of my absolute favorite tracks are 'Down is Up' (A fun, zany, Jack Sparrowish Celtic tune that I never get tired of!), 'Parlay' (I love the western approach to this, Zimmer knew what the director was up to)and 'I Don't Think Now is the Best Time' ( A bit lengthy, but every second is worth it!)
This score is definitely one of Zimmer's best and the film itself is fantastic.
Free Music Review: Hear Up Me Hearties Yo Ho Hit: 5 Stars
Without doubt Hans Zimmer is the man when it comes to making Pirates Of The Caribbean sound tracks. The third (maybe final installment of Pirates) brings us new locations which Hans gives new music to go with the flow with scene. Giving clips from previous sounds scores of Pirates are nicely done remixed into this sound track. Up Is Down is very wittly giving Jack Sparrow giving him the musical tune that makes us laugh whenever I see him. My personal favorites are Up Is Down, Now I Don't Think Is The Best Time (final 5 minutes of the track),One Day-A nice way to describe William and Elizabeth romantic scene. Drink Up Me Hearties Yo Ho for it's musical conclusion to the Pirates trilogy.
