Free Music Notes for Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's EndFree Music Review: The Ultimate Climax Hit: 5 Stars
The music from this, the third in the "Pirates" series, continues themes from the earlier movies and adds newer content that somehow flows perfectly into the total. As before, the underlying feeling of the sea is in the score, but this time the "love theme" reflects the changes that the characters make. The entire sound track echoes the threads in the story, yet still holds on to the swashbuckling nature of the movie.
Free Music Review: Magnificent. If only the movie . . . Hit: 5 Stars
Zimmer's score is as good as it gets. If only as much care and attention had been given to the screenplay -- instead of pandering to the international audience to get the big bucks (there, I said it!) -- my God would they have had something. As it is, the score is just about perfect and if you close your eyes as you listen to it, and use your imagination, you will be able to watch the movie that might have been.
Free Music Review: Another Zimmer masterpiece Hit: 5 Stars
Hans Zimmer really pulled off a masterpiece with this soundtrack. It has his trademark energy (think Gladiator) with "pirate" themes. The fighting scores will tempt you to grab the nearest sword and go swashbuckling. It's also addictive. The only problem I have with this album is that it's too short - only 13 tracks...
Free Music Review: Excellent Hit: 5 Stars
This soundtrack is excellent all the way through. With more variety than the first one...and I dont even want to mention the second one...it has graced my CD player more than any CD in the months since I bought it.
The music is well performed, well written, and well put togehter. Each song seems to complement the next. Overall, one of the best CDs I have ever purchased
Free Music Review: This soundtrack Is very good and Is very Rrich and Dynamic Hit: 5 Stars
I like this soundtrack. I just enjoy listening to it repeatedly. The early sections of this soundtrack are eerie and have a great mystical quality about them reaching out from the mysterious Far East. It is very good. I still wonder how much involvement Hans Zimmer had with this recording. I love the final cut which comes full circle with the Jack Sparrow theme.
