Free Music Review: Plus One-Christmas

This CD is a great addition to any Christmas collection. It contains both fun songs, like HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS, and spiritual ones, like WHAT CHILD IS THIS and SILENT NIGHT. One of my favorites is the MEDLEY, which has Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, I'll Be Home For Christmas, and O Come Let Us Adore Him in it. I especially like the transition between the last two, which says, "In my memory, I can see the tree with my presents big and small, but the story of a King who came for me is the greatest gift of all."
My other favorite song on this album would have to be either I WON'T FORGET THIS CHRISTMAS or OUR CHRISTMAS PRAYER. The first one talks about how we should never forget what Christmas is all about, and the second one is so beautiful, I have to type the chorus. "We pray for joy, we pray for peace, from the west and to the east, and that every man may find someone to love. We pray for strength, we pray for light, and on this holiest of nights, deliver hope where there's despair, Jesus, hear our Christmas prayer." I love it!
The last song, IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR, I was really surprised at. It's a pretty fun arrangement, but it just doesn't seem like Plus One's style. But all in all, I have to say that this is a pretty great CD.
