Poison is a rock ensemble that picks up the essential sounds of the great rock bands of the early seventies (Crazy Elephants, Free, and some twists of Ten Years After) in this fabulous compilation of well made songs.
There's much adrenaline in this album of visible commercial tunes but with effective sounds that results worthy to listen and acquire.

poison' open up and say...ahh! is a classic metal record.the songs nothin' but a good time,fallen angel,every rose has its thorn,and your mama don't dance all hit the top 20. other good songs were good love, bad to be good,love on the rocks,andyou can look but you can't touch. this is my favorite album by poison. i think you will like it too. ed wilsonFree Music Review: Their Best

I don't know what it is exactly, but even today I still love listening to Poison. Their glam style has passed, but the music is still great.Open Up & Say Ahh was their best. Every Rose Has It's Thorn & Your Mamma Don't Dance became songs that everyone knew and loved to play loud... even now.

As a pre 70's generation child...I loved the 80's "butt" rock as I have heard it put...I am a huge fan of Poison..I rocked with the best of them but I must say with the crap they have now I have had to resort to COUNTRY!!!! Bring back the 80's
