Free Music Review: The Worst of Poison: 20 Years of A Joke of A Band

Ah, Poison. Listening to this material is good for a chuckle, like that of Warrant, Motley Crue or other ridiculous no-talent 80s big hair big mouth bands. This is a perfect example of how MTV and VH1 ruined music and dictated that image is more important than talent.
Late 1980s Big Hair Band Success Formula:
1) Get pretty boy lead vocalist, able to wear makeup, scream and act like a moron;
2) Add one guitarist who can shred 400 notes a minute and still not "play" anything relevant;
3) Throw in generic bass player, two or three notes is all that matters;
4) Finally, find drummer who can bash in 4/4 for two hours and also play a generic solo with fireworks to cloak just how bland and boring the drumming is.
And no, I am NOT jealous of any of these bakayaros. I would be jealous of an Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Neil Peart or John Bonham because they actually have extensive TALENT on their instruments.
I would classify Poison as relevant as Debbie Gibson, Tiffany or Vanilla Ice.
