Julian Bream is certainly recognized as one of the leading guitarists of the 20th century.
We are fortunate that RCA lavished their finest high-fidelity stereo recording techniques on the sessions that came to be released on their "Living Stereo" label. We are again fortunate that BMG Classics decided to rerelease the "Living Stereo" series with 20-bit remastering and restored original artwork and liner notes.
Bream has the Master's touch with these selections from Villa-Lobos, Moreno Torroba, Albeniz, de Falla, and others. The audio quality is so good that you would think he is playing in the same room!
This is a wonderful package. The only thing that could improve it is another 20 minutes or more of the same!
