This is the best CD I own, I got it back in '96 and amprobably due to getting another one because there are scratches fromlistening to it so many times and my case has taken a beating becauseI take the thing everywhere. You can never get tired of this CD.It's great. The best songs on it, however, are 100 Ways, TahitianMoon, and Freeway. It's very varied as well which makes it all thebetter. If you are a ... fan, you will surely love Porno For Pyros,they both rock, so without hesitation, this CD should be in yourshopping basket!P.S. At times, these guys remind me of ..., so ifyou're into them, you might very well also love Porno For Pyros!

This album has been my rock in the past few months and listening to it again reminds me why I love Farell's music so much. This is unmistakenly Perry, without the punches of Jane's Addiction, but with the melodies. Kimberly Austin has to be my standout track and 100 ways is a close follower. This album offers so much more than any of the banal releases I have heard in recent months. It is a steady friend, always to hand when I want a pick up. I've recently been through a stressful period and putting this album on makes me smile. A brilliant pick up and a brilliant direction.Free Music Review: Intoxicating

Simply put, Perry Farrell is one of the greatest lyricists. "100 Ways" is absolutely one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I am a huge fan of Janes Addiction and bought their first release back in 1987 (Self Titled) when they played in a College Gym! He was this wild guy hanging from the rafters belting out "Rock and Roll" and 10 minutes later singing "Would For You" -- another beautiful ballad. "God's Good Urge" is a must have for any fan of Perry and Jane's Addiction.Free Music Review: Intoxicating

I have listened to this CD fairly consistently since its release. I was totally amazed by the overall mystical feel of the album and the new strong direction for Perry and Porno. Over the years it continues to surprise me how underrated this CD was when it was released. The highlights for me are 100 Ways, Kimberly Austin, Wishing Well and Bali Eyes. Yes, this very different from past work, but if their work continues this way, there is going to be some wonderful music from this band.
