This album is not has hardcore as their first album, but for anyone who likes Jane's Addiction's slow stuff like Jane Says and Pets and such, this is a great album. Each song is its own individual experience, there is a song for everyone. THE album in a whole will leave you with a serene zenful experience. I have even fallen asleep to it because it is so hypnotizing. Even the lyrics are great. Buy this album, its a TRIP in a Cd Case!Free Music Review: This is the album

That I thought Perry and company would make for the first Porno For Pyros album. This album has alot trippy and laid back vibe to it. Its basically what I like to call new age hippy music. If you like the song "Summertime Rolls" by Perry and Stephen's former band, then you will more than likely like this recording. Don't go into it expecting the firsy P4P or any Jane's Addiction record because that it is not.Free Music Review: I will grow on you!

Perry Farrell is without doubt the Bowie of my generation. Each new recording moving into a different direction.
Don't expect a replica of the first Porno's CD. This album definately takes time to grow on you, but it is worth it.
In a era of throw away fabricated pop, Perry remains an artist true to himself.

I've liked the band since the days of Jane's Addiction and Perry Farrell in Psi Com. This album is fantastic! It's got a whole new fantasy/tropical/exotic thing going on. Very few bands manage to be original these days: P for P is one. This alb has a mystical and detatched tone, yet is stunningly produced and beautifully written. Kim Austin is the best track. Puts all the other 'alternative' wannabees to shame. A must.
