I turn on these CDs when we're playing, in the car, or just before bedtime. My 16 month old son easily falls asleep to them. Recently, we went on a trip and I forgot the CD. I was nervous that my son wouldn't fall asleep without the CD, so I sang him the songs from the "Praises and Smiles" CD and it did the trick. And, if he wakes up in the middle of the night, I simply press play again to soothe him back to sleep. The songs are easy to understand, the music is lovely and the woman who sings them sounds a bit like Amy Grant (who I really like).Free Music Review: The Best CD's I have ever purchased for my daughter!

We play these over and over and many of the songs bring tears to my eyes. This is my favorite CD set that we have for our baby and we have at least 50 baby CD's. Something about all of the little kids voices singing with the beautiful melodies gets me every time. This is music my daughter and entire family can enjoy for many years!! Most of the songs are familiar worship and praise songs I grew up with or now sing in church! It's a very comforting soothing version. I keep mine playing day and night, so when you walk into the nursery the spirit of God is presant! I turn it up when I'm nursing or soothing my baby! I bought my first set two years ago as a gift for my first grandchild and her parents play it for her every night as she falls asleep. So I bought this second set for when my other kids have their first child.
