Free Music Notes for Blue Stars

Free Music Review: I can't stop listening to it.
Hit: 5 Stars

First off, whoever the fag was who just dissed them before me, you better turn the hell around and go back to whatever that stupid corny obnoxious heavy metal trash you headbang to and ovbiously got brain damage 'cause of, and quit dissing the best music there is! I mean if you hate them, why did you even buy the CD, or if you didn't, why are you on here looking at it? Stupid retard. Now onto my review.

Playhouse is a real slow, sexy song that I am really glad they chose for an opener. All four of them have a verse in here plus the singer introduces them all at the beginning. This is a real cool one.

Your Body is real sexy. The song, I mean. This is the second song of their's I had the honor of hearing and it inspired me to buy the CD since "Grind With Me" got me into them in the first place.

Grind With Me is the song we've all heard and love so well, so no more needs to be said. Well, if you DON'T like it, you need help, so don't even review the CD if you don't like it, all you idiots out there.

Get a Little Closer isn't a favorite of mine but that's ok. I still like it anyway.

Never Let You Go is now my favorite song by them. I love it and I can't get through a day without hearing this song and just about the whole CD! This had d@mn well better be the next single or somebody's not doing their job.

Juicy is the third hit and it's got a really good slow sound to it except for all the immature lyrics here. It gets so graphic I just wish they'd change it around a little. I've got the amended version 'cause I don't like explicit lyrics that much but even now this song is still pretty explicit. It sounds just like the explicit version which I've heard before. Still good, though.

Call Me is a very good song that sounds almost like the kind of song you'd hear during a $#x scene in a movie with the real fast and energetic sound.

Nothing But A Number is sort of based from Aaliyah's song the Age Ain't Nothin' But a Number album and they did it real well. I really like it especially since I just know those record companies are gonna make it another of the hits.... Or, they sure better...

Grill 'Em is a southern sounding rap song that's got sort of a 'Lil Jon beat, but don't worry, this is still Pretty Ricky here, not that screw up Lil Jon. If he was featured anywhere on this album it would ruin it all. The hook in this song is funny. I like it.

Get You Right is great also and it sounds like Juicy a little bit but less sexual and more uplifting. It's got great vocals especially on Pleasure's whole verse toward the middle.

Chevy is a really really great song that I love listening to when I'm going on a trip or just taking a drive (I'm not under 13, by the way. My account expired, or something...) and especially the hook. Spectacular isn't even in this song just like Pleasure isn't in "Grill 'Em" but Slick'Em and Baby Blue really shine here with their real good rapping talent. It's a really fast paced song that is also nice to listen to when I'm mad. It's one of my favorites, and should also be a single.

I Want You is pretty good and Baby Blue's verse is funny here. This will probably become a single instead of Chevy 'cause this song sounds a little like one of Outkast's songs that also became sort of a hit. I forget what it's called, though, but it's on Outkast's fourth album I think.... Never mind. I forgot which one.

Short Be Mine is real good and that hook is just inspiring. Spectacular has a great verse especially. Slick'Em doesn't sound himself this time for some reason. He sounds mad, I guess. That's no big deal.

Can't Live Without You is the perform closing song, just like Playhouse is the perfect opening song. The ending is missing something though and it's like it just stops flat right after the last hook. Songs like this need a longer ending where it fades out gradually, but that's just a minor thing. I'm not complaining. Just something they might wanna remember for the last track on their next CD which I can't wait for, and by the way, in response to an earlier reviewer, their next album is not going to be called "Red Stars", though that would be cool. Then maybe "Green Stars", and then "Yellow Stars", and then "Orange Stars", and so on. That would be pretty tight. It'd be unique, which is a missing trait in virtually all rappers today except Nas, Talib, Mos, Pac, Outkast, and this one rapper who doesn't even have a recording contract yet named B-Boi in this group Dead Men Walkin', but he'll come around soon enough. I know'im so that's how I know. But in the meantime, "Blue Stars" is one of the best albums out today by far. If you don't buy it, there could only be three reasons. 1, you became stupid and like rock and heavy metal or nu metal, or whatever the **** they're all called. 2, you don't like music.
3, you live in a cave.

Signed, J. Sampson

Blue Stars Poster

The group Pretty Ricky is made up of four siblings. The brothers are young, handsome and very smart. Baby Blue, Slick, Spectacular and Pleasure started exploring the music scene seven years ago with total support and encouragement from their father. These young men have grown tremendously over the years. Their delivery is solid, they are excellent dancers, and they know how to work a microphone and can get a crowd going.
