Free Music Notes for A Good Day

Free Music Review: Perfect chill-out music
Hit: 4 Stars

I first heard Priscilla Ahn's 'Dream' on an episode of Grey's Anatomy, and immediately went about Googling for more info about the artiste and song. I picked up her album after reading all these fantastic reviews and watching a couple of clips on YouTube, and I have to say that I am not at all disappointed by the quality of music on her album. It's not by any means perfect, but it is nonetheless a very good album. Perfect for chilling to at the end of a long day with a drink in hand. I'm more of a melody person than a lyrics person, and the melodies are amazing. Lyrics-wise, I'm no expert, but if so many people think they're good, then it must be true ;-)

Get it if you haven't! The best [...] bucks you will spend in a long while :)

Free Music Review: Fantastic
Hit: 4 Stars

I first heard about Priscilla Ahn about a year ago and immediately picked up her E.P. (Two songs on this album are on that E.P.: Dream and I Don't Think So). She's been a part of the Hotel Cafe Tour with Ingrid Michaelson (Grey's Anatomy fame), Meiko (my favorite of the touring group), and Cary Brothers and certainly shares that kind of singer-songwriter with a guitar/piano sound that you've come to associate with Grey's Anatomy or small bar and club venues. In many ways, Priscilla shares the most with Brandi Carlile in the way she mixes these kind of catchy-melodies with a vibrant honesty that is soothing and instantly enjoyable. This CD shows how much she has grown since her E.P. and I am sure this will take off shortly.

Free Music Review: A lovely first album
Hit: 4 Stars

I saw her perform in October '07, and loved everything she sang. I figured any girl who could play the guitar, harmonica, and ukelele and create fun songs while doing so had to have some talent. I've been waiting for her full-length album ever since (she also provides the back-up vocals to Josh Radin's cd, which is also absolutely worth purchasing), and it does not disappoint. Her lyrics strike me as true poetry, and it's a wonderful cd to have in the background and create a peaceful atmosphere. It's a little too short, but a great cd that I hope more people discover.

A Good Day

I like Priscilla Ahn's voice and her music. Her voice is soft, clear and strong. She reminds me of lady folk singers of the 70's with a modern twist and a unique style. Priscilla connects across the generation gap. I bought three Cd's and gave one to my sister and to my niece; they enjoyed it as I thought they would. She has a bright future and will contribute more good music which I look forward to hearing.

Free Music Review: Relaxing Music
Hit: 4 Stars

Miss Ahn is a really talented musician. The songs and sound of her voice are very calming. I was a little surprised of the many religious references. Sort of reminds me of Amy Grant in a small way. That was slightly distracting to me. It would be interesting to see what her next album will be like. I overall liked it. "A Good Day" is my fave track.
