Free Music Review: Whew
Hit: 5 Stars

being a goth guy, i had heard several Puddle of Mudd songs on the MTV and i sort of liked them. then came a scare. i heard the band being interviewed and some of the influences they mentioned were led zeppelin and pink floyd. that scared me because those are two poser bands from teh 70's. but for some reason, i hopped into that expensive car that i am so proud of even though my parents bought it for me, drove out and got come clean. the band must have been joking about the influences because they sound nothing like those two bands. don't worry, fellow mtv watchers! they are just as talented as all of the other people on mtv (except for alter bridge and velvet revolver who are posers). i learned from mtv that some people think that zep and floyd were the best of all time. that got me scared until i watched mtv's greatest bands show and they told me that the greatest band of all time was radiohead. the man must have brainwashed those 70's people into thinking those bands were great just because they had a great drummer or guitarist. luckily me and me friends cant not be brainwashed because we am too smart. anyway if you are looking for music that is as good as linkin park, you can find it here. i must go now and paint my nails black.

Free Music Review: Trying too hard to be Nirvana
Hit: 3 Stars

Okay. "Blurry" is a great song. In fact the first 5 songs are really good. Wes Scanlin is not only trying to look just like Kurt Kobain but trying to sound exactly like him too. After the first 5 tunes though things get very mediocre and boring. It's not really that bad just dull. I still play this CD some but after "Blurry" I cut it off. More like 2.5 stars instead of 3 but I rounded up.

Free Music Review: Still is and always will be one of my favourite albums
Hit: 5 Stars

Im in to pretty much everything: Rock, Pop, Punk, Prog Metal, Metal, Rap, R&b.....whatever. Considering this is a debut album, im quite surprised that all the songs are decent. I love everyone on this album. There is no album filler, songs that were written in the studio to make up an album. How do I know this? I heard their demo tape way back in the day on a web site and every song on that is on here except this album sounds better. Nice clean guitars, solid drumming, simple yet tasteful basslines. This is rock at its finest. Not some manufactured rock group like Nickelback, these are guys who have catchy songs and wish to show the world what they got. I agree, not everyone will like this album. Maybe this isnt your sound. But truely this is their sound. You can tell a Puddle of Mudd song by their choice of melodies. For those who havent heard this album and are thinking of buying it, I say, give it a whirl. I can not put this cd on for like a year and then play it loud on my stereo and still love everysong. This is one of those few albums for me that has passed the test of time. Congrats Puddle of Mudd. Nice debut. BTW, this is just my opinion.

Free Music Review: why does everyone hate this cd?its quite enjoyable
Hit: 4 Stars

puddle of mudd-the so called unoriginal kurt cobain soundin enigma that was spawned by everyones favorite mr. freddy durst.thats enough to get me to buy the cd, plus i heard "control" and enjoyed the dominatrix oriented lyrics."drift and die" is a great catchy listen, while "out of my head" goes back to the heaviness of "control"."blurry" is ok in small doses, kind of boring at times."she hates me" is easily an anthem for my life and "never change" and "basement" are two of the best tracks on here, not too heavy but still rovide some rockin."said" is an amazing track.the acoustic guitar work and vocals complement each other perfectly.overall i enjoyed this cd.i dont see why everyone hates on them so much.sure, their new disc sucked miserably but this cd was great and fun, nothing special but a good listen.

Free Music Review: No Worry about Nirvana -- Music Stolen from Suicidal T.
Hit: 3 Stars

I see many reviews about this band doing major rip off of Nirvana. When I first heard "She Hates Me" it sounded very familiar to me. I could not place it. Eventually I put in my Suicidal Tendencies Album - "Psyco after all these years" and as as as I got to the track "I saw your Mommy" I realized where I knew it from. The music (not lyrics) of "She Hates me" are almost identical to Suicidal Tendencies "I saw your Mommy". If you do not believe me - search for the ST album named above and listen to the sample of the track.
