I bought this CD for my 6 month old daughter. I was a bit tired of the traditional kids' music. She giggles at the songs and bounces and taps her feet to the music. Tons of fun for babies and kids as well as music that adults can tolerate. I would buy the CD for the Ladysmith Black Mambazo song "Mbube" (The Lion Sleeps Tonight) alone. My 6-month old and I dance and sing to this almost every day and we never get sick of it. Some of the other more traditional cds make you want to jump off a cliff after a while, but the music is so good on this album that it feels more for adults and kids than just kids. This is our first Putumayo kid CD and we love it. The songs are enjoyable for baby and me - not something I can say about other kids' music. Because of this CD, I've sought out a few other Putumayo CDs - New Orleans playground (jazzy), World Music, and Reggae Playground. Like the other reviewers, we LOVE LOVE LOVE this CD. Nice variety, fun lyrics, great tempo, and the songs don't drive adults insane on the nine hundredth playing. Probably our favorite "kid" CD - even among the other Putumayo albums. This album is like any other: A mix of songs. But it is the only one that our son demands over and over (he's 2). Specifically he likes the Monkey Song. My husband likes the Three Little Bears song a lot too. Not easy to find anything that will please both generations!
