Free Music Notes for Trav'lin' LightFree Music Review: Sensational!! Hit: 5 Stars
Hard to think of one thing this talented artist cannot do...it took me two long months to finally buy the CD (shame)! Let me tell you (the other reviewers said plenty positive things)..this album is SENSATIONAL! Queen L. gives us a great mix of jazz, blues, R&B and everything else in between, backed ably by a slam-dunk array of musicians and background singers. There ain't one clunker in this collection!
Shame on those who wrote negative reviews...the woman can do more than just rap and hip-hop!!!
Free Music Review: GREAT MIX!!!! A MUST BUY Hit: 5 Stars
WOW!! I've had this CD for a couple of days and I'm just now getting a chance to listen to it. I thought the Dana Owens CD was a good buy. I feel Trav'lin Light CD is even better. I like that this CD has a mixture of several different styles of music. Poetry Man, How Long(Betcha You Got a Chick on the Side)have you dancing, I'm Not in Love, Georgia Rose and title song - Trav'lin Light. Take your pick. I feels she does every song justice. Whatever your flavor, Queen has it for you. ONCE AGAIN, A MUST BUY...

Free Music Review: Amazing arrangement Hit: 5 Stars
I liked her last album. So I knew this album would be good too. Oh man, I was impressed by the instrumental arrangement! I didn't know that the arranger for this album, John Clayton got a Grammy award for one of the tracks. I forgot what it was... But anyway since I like his style and arrangement I am going to buy his CD too. If you like the arrangement on this album, you should definitely check out his music too. [...]
Free Music Review: Queen Latifah Hit: 5 Stars
Trav'lin' Light
I believe Dana Owens, Queen Latifah has a future in jazz. She certainly has the voice and attitude for singing it. I believe the original songsters of the songs on her album would have been proud. Wonderful CD, mellow, light and easy listening. Hope to hear more jazz from her in the future.
