I slept in one day last week, with the TV on, and awoke to the most beautiful voice singing one of my favorite songs, "Poetry Man," on the Regis/Kelly show.
I can't say I was surprised to see that it was Latifah... but very very glad. This woman is so full of music!!

What a diverse talent she has in her voice... you'll hear and recognize songs done by other artists like Ella Fitzgerald... the Pointer Sisters... Roberta Flack, and more. I loved this CD. It was even better than "The Dana Owens Album". I especially loved her version of "Don't Cry Baby", "I Want a Little Sugar In My Bowl" and "How Long". Her voice is more polished than on the previous CD and I thought the song selections were great also.
