Free Music Review: Queen of the Damned Won't Die
Hit: 5 Stars

An excellent collection of artists of rock. A very dark album that speaks to the heart of today's youth. Jonthan Davis of KoRn has done a superb job of putting together this album featuring some of the God's of Rock including Linkin Park's Chester Bennington and Marilyn Manson. This soundtrack has a collection of songs that tell of the dark side of the human psyche. The lyrics of each song hold the listener with its hard edge and awesome beat. A powerful line up of songs that could refer to the Children of the Night or even youth that feel separated in society uses certain lines that will awaken within themselves a great love for rock music. Three of these such songs are "Forsaken", "System" and "Change (In the House of Flies)". As there are fans of such music this soundtrack will satisfy the hunger of youth today to have their own anthem. Overall this soundtrack is one of the best I have heard that featured so many rock idols. Buy this album and you wont be disappointed.

Free Music Review: a must have for many reason
Hit: 5 Stars

as a fan of soundtracks, metal and most of the bands on this gem, i had to have this album. i was not disappointed. i knew staic x but am not familiar with their material although now i want to be becasuse the first song is called not meant for me and wayne staic sings and sings beatifully. i bought this for jonathon davis and marilyn manson primarliy although there were a plethora of other reasons. i was not crazy about redeemer in which marilyn manson sings but i adored the david draiman sung forsaken. there are a couple of new bands here such as the kidney thieves, dry cell and earshot. all of these bands are quite good and i look forward to checking them out further.
also on this gem is orgy's jay gordon singing slept so long and it is one of my favorite tracks. cold by statci x is a good one but godhead's penetrate brought the energy down.
all in all this is a wrthwhile purchase as you can see from the 5 star rating from us all

Free Music Review: Very dark and spooky... I like it!
Hit: 5 Stars

The movie wasn't all that great... pretty but with not much content. But the soundtrack is AWESOME!!! The only thing that annoyed me was the fact that you can't tell what song is what based on the back of the CD cover. Even Amazon's track listing is incorrect. Track 5 is not Changes... it's Redeemer. Changes is Track 4. Other than that it was well worth the money. ^ ^

Here's the correct order for everyone:

Track Listing:

1. Not Meant For Me- Wayne Static of Static-X
2. Forsaken- David Draiman of Disturbed
3. System- Chester Bennington of Linkin Park
4. Change- Deftones
5. Redeemer- Marilyn Manson
6. Dead Cell- Papa Roach
7. Penetrate- Godhead
8. Slept So Long- Jay Gordon of
9. Down With The Sickness- Disturbed
10. Cold- Static-X
11. Headstrong- Earshot
12. Body Crumbles- Dry Cell
13. Excess- Tricky
14. Before I'm Dead- Kidneytheives

Free Music Review: A superb movie album.
Hit: 5 Stars

Like vampires? Like rock rock music? Well, dear friends, this album, to you, is certified gold! The movie: rocked. The songs: rock even harder. My friend burned the album for me, and i silenty thank her in my head whenever this cd is in my player. A big plus for Korn fans(such as i)is that jon davis helped with 5 of the 14 trax. A minor disappointment is that he doesn't actually sings them himself. On the bright side, however, talented artist such as chester bannington, david draiman, and wayne from staic-x take over and breathe life into these recordings. Even bands i've yet to hear about such as kidney thieves and dry cell brought remarkable music to this soundtrack.

It's a definite buy for hard rock fans or those who're into the dark, shadowed world of vampirism. I associate myself with both, therefore, this album, along with the movie, is a double knock-out.I'm not the biggest fan of movie albums, but this one is worth a listen.

Free Music Review: Haunting and catchy...
Hit: 5 Stars

This soundtrack is an excellent compilation of blood-pumping music. The tracks written by Johnathan Davis and Richard Gibbs are excellently composed and fit the character of Lestat from Queen of the Damned most nicely. The layout is very nicely done with little sneak peeks at photos from the movie. I love all the songs written especially for the movie: "Not Meant for Me", "Forsaken", "System", "Redeemer", and "Slept so Long" as well as the mysterious song "Excess" by Tricky and the painfully true song "Before I'm Dead" by KidneyThieves. The song "Cold", used in the trailer, portrays the feelings of the vampires and it will be the first single off the CD, "Forsaken" being the second single.
Overall this CD is worth the money and for me, a 'maniacal' Anne Rice fan, so much more.
And hey, while you're at it why not see the movie...
