I love Freddie Mercury's voice..and think he's one of the best rock band front man ever, so I bought this. There are some pleasant surprises in this collection. Along with all the classics, I was happy to hear George Michael's rendition of "Somebody to Love" from the Freddie Mercury tribute concert..widely believed to be one of the best versions of that song ever done. It's a great collection with some songs you won't find anywhere else on CD.Free Music Review: If you are a queen fan or not, you should get this!!!

Before I got this box set I didn't really know who Queen was except for We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You, and Bohemian Rhapsody. After listening to these CDs, I have to say it's the best music I have ever bought. I like every song on the first and second CDs, and on the third, except the insulting rap of Another One Bites The Dust, they are great, especially Princes Of The Universe. I would give this CD a 30 out of 5 stars if I could.Free Music Review: A superb collection of hits!

What an incredible voice Freddie Mercury had and Brian May's guitar leaves you speechless. Yes Disc 1&2 are the best of the three however disc three is still worth owning.This band really was cut short when Mercury died of aids at an early age for I believe they would still be making incredible pop/rock today.If you don't own any Queen cd's then this is the set to buy because you get an amazing collection of songs for a great price.Free Music Review: Queen knocks it out of the park!

I love Queen, and was so excited to receive this collection for Mother's Day. I have listened to it over and over again. While I work on my laptop, while driving in my car, everywhere I go the Platinum Collection goes with me. I think we lost one of the best singers we have ever known when we lost Freddie Mercury. I would recommend this collection to any one who loves rock, definately one of the best rock collections out there!Free Music Review: Good for any casual Queen fan

I can speak for the hard-core fans, because I'm only a casual Queen fan who's familiar with their biggest songs. I like this compilation because Disc 1&2 have legitimate, original versions. I consider Disc 3 like a "Bonus Disc," because it's basically a bunch of collabos. But for the price and quality, this would be a good buy for any casual Queen fan. I bought it retail and was very pleased. Thanks, have a good one!
