Free Music Review: Queen's best album

This is my favorite Queen CD, which is quite remarkable considering it was released 4 years after Freddie Mercury died.The surviving members did a great job with the music, and even on singing parts of the songs (Roger and Brian sharing a verse with Freddie on the wonderful 'Let Me Live' and Brian singing the last verse on the dark 'Mother Love.'). It's also interesting to hear how these songs differ from their other releases (Too Much Love WIll Kill You on Brian's first solo album, Heaven for Everyone on Roger's CROSS album, and some of the other's from Freddie's albums).
ALl in all, a wonderful collection of songs (even better than Queen II! ) and the untitled instrumental piece at the end of the CD is pure magic!

I'm sorry, but I had to rebuttle "Scout from Wichata, Kansas" review, since he didn't leave his E-Mail address. Of course, the person on the "Made In Heaven" cover is not Freddy, because it's not even a person. That is a real statue of Freddy erected in Montreaux, Switzerland in his memory. And if anyone ever deserved it, he did. And so what if these are new versions of older songs? Freddy was in his dying days and somehow managed to find the strength to sing these wonderful songs with more feeling than ever! How could he expected to come up with new material in his condition? I was throughly pleased with this album upon first listen, and still am!Free Music Review: Queen Was Never Better!!!

I have heard every track Queen recorded, and I must say that "Made In Heaven" is the best!!! I feel it really describes Queen's career as a whole. And Freddie's voice was absolutely incredible. He was a true angel, and his talents will never be matched. This album is a staple to any Queen collection. It's a dedication to all the fantastic work this band has done. "A Winter's Tale" is one of the best songs ever written; definitley Queen style. Words can't describe my love for Freddie. He was the god of voice and will never be replaced. Made In Heaven represents him to the fullest. This album is a legacy, and a must have!!!Free Music Review: RIP Freddie...Thanks for the memories

I will agree with some other reviewers...is this classic Queen? No. Was it totally necessary? No. But you know what, it offers some closure on one of the best bands ever and probably one of the top 5 best singers EVER. It is very bittersweet (for me) to listen to this album. You know he was near death when this was recorded, and you can kind of tell. He doesn't sound as strong vocally. But you can tell he is doing the absolute best he can. And on this album, even if you wanna say this is his worst, it is still better than a lot of other singers can even dream about. It still sounds like Queen. It still sounds like Freddie. Made In heaven is a wonderful album. I like every song. This album and Innuendo prove what an amazing man and talent freddy mercury was. To me this isn't a depressing or pessimistic album by any means. instead what we have is beuty and hope. my favorite songs are A winters Tale, and the emotional mother love. Too much love will kill you and heaven for everyone are also among my favorites. This album has had a lasting effect on me, from the beutiful album cover(a scene of celebration),to the great mellow music throughout the album. This album was a good way for the surviving members of queen to pay tribute to freddys life.
