Free Music Notes for Queen: Greatest Hits I & IIFree Music Review: Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the greatest songs ever Hit: 5 Stars
Queen... such a gay name can fool so many, however their music is not gay at all, in fact quite awesome. Freddie Mercury is one of the top five greatest lead singers since, well ever, and he could play the piano for damn sure. Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my top ten favorite songs of all time and even though it has a piano it is still great, remarkable. Their guitarist is pretty good too although you don't here the bassist and drummer that well. These guys were voted the thirteenth greatest band of all time by vh1 and they definately worked for it. From 12 to 1 its about influence and music, from 100 to 13 its only about music and Queen had better music than the many artists that didn't beat them. Buy this album even if you don't necessarily prefer the piano, it's great and besides, Freddie doesn't always use the piano (like in "Another One Bites the Dust").
Rest in Peace Freddie Mercury, we'll miss you.
Free Music Review: simply the best! Hit: 5 Stars
this box set truly is the greatest collection of music from the one artist on earth! freddie mercury had no peers as far as vocalists go, and along with three other very gifted musicians queen rocked the world to its very foundations. queens music evolved over these two sensational eras, but i believe it was from the second greatest hits era that they left the rest behind their best work coming from a kind of magic the miracle and perhaps the best album of all time innuendo. the major hits off these albums are all included on g.h. two and its a good introduction into the music of queen. to pick a stand out single off each g.h. one and two is nearly impossible but for those looking for something different the inspirational dont stop me now will lift anyone out of depression and two the sweet melody of radio ga ga is a simple feel good song which will warm the soul enrich your life with pure pleasure!
Free Music Review: Excellent Compilation Hit: 5 Stars
Queen - Greatest Hits One and Two will probably, if you so choose to purchase it, be the last "greatest hits" compilation of Queen that you will ever purchase. The moment you put side one into your CD player, you know this is Queen. Bohemian Rhaspody and Another One Bites the Dust, my personal favourites, top off this side, with the fabulous music stylings of the band clearly apparent through out, ending with the ever popular We Will Rock You and We are the Champions. Side two kicks to a start with A Kind of Magic and Under Pressure. It is extremely noticeable from the start of the second side that it is very "eighties". I was generally dissapointed with side two, although the songs are very creative. In conclusion, I would extremely recommend this Queen compilation for avid supporters and new listeners alike. You will not be dissapointed with this purchase.
Free Music Review: An absolute must-have! Hit: 5 Stars
Queen rocked to stardom in the 1970s, with Freddie Mercury's (1946-91) silky voice leading. They produced many excellent songs, and were popular worldwide, right up until Freddie Mercury's death from AIDS in 1991. Throughout my youth, I loved Queen's sound, and their many wonderful songs - and now I have them again!
This fantastic CD set, contains all of the great hits from Greatest Hits volumes 1 and 2 in one package! All of my old favorites are here, like Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen and Under Pressure, but it also has some songs that I was not so familiar with. I must say, some of those songs are now among my most favorite, including Who Wants To Live Forever, A Kind Of Magic and The Miracle.
This is a great CD set, and an absolute must-have for any fan of Queen. I love this CD set, and would not be without. I give it my highest recommendations!
Free Music Review: Long time Queen fan... Hit: 5 Stars
I've been a Queen fan for a long time & have bought every album that they have made. This is by-far the best album compilation of all. It's a must-have for new & old Queen fans. Especially new ones, because with this set you get all of the songs you know & crave to hear. There will also be songs that you have'nt heard before, but you will crave to hear them more after a couple of listens to the album. I guarantee you will not regret buying this item. Don't buy the single "Greatest Hits" release or "Classic Queen", because they are the American versions & were poorly put together. They miss some of the best songs that you get with the gold set like "Innuendo" & "It's A Hard Life". Hopefully I have convinced you to buy this album. Please do! You don't know what you're missing!
