I was introduced to queen in an unusual way, through the movie Highlander. The soundtrack was pure Queen and had such power that I just had to hear more. Of course Queen is an institution now, the ultimate 80's band but for me they will always personify Rock Opera. Their music video's may have distracted people from the fact that their music was very cleaver. Characterised by complex melodies and contrasting choruses, they managed to produce more unforgetable songs than any other band I can think of. This album is good value because it will stick in your head all day, just like elevator musak only in a good way.Free Music Review: Greatest of the Greatest!

This is really one of the best box-sets of Greatest Hits of any group ... hey, it's QUEEN! From the heartbreaking melodramic songs like "Save Me" and "Who Wants To Live Forever", the great pop songs like "Radio Ga Ga", great R&B like "Another One Bites The Dust" and to the fist-pumping rock songs like "Hammer To Fall", "Now I'm Here" and "I Want It All", this is really an album to get in your collection, wheater you're a fan of Queen or not. I'm just sad that "Tear It Up" wasn't put on the album as well.

Many people seem to think disc one is superior to disc 2, and granted those cuts were culled from Queens' "golden era", in the '70's. What many Americans missed was the wonderful music Queen made in the 80's and early 90's due to the fact that American radio ignored most of it. What a shame! Listen to disc 2. There are some amazing songs on it! The tracks BREAKTRU and INNUENDO are my personal faves and easily match the better-known masterpieces on disc one. All in all, this is a great starting point to Queens' music that you will keep in your collection for the rest of your life!

This creation is one remarkable piece of history! I'm so thankful I got it, and for such a nice price you get almost 40 songs! With their incorporation of piano and Freddie Mercury's voice, and their guitarist- this thing just blows out your ears in amazement. I had heard so many of these songs on the radio, but who knew they did all of them? Bicycle Race first annoyed me with so much repitition, but with my love for bike-riding, it's become a motto for me to. Killer Queen is just WOWZERs... so sexy and loaded. And there's tons more, but I'll save those as super surpise you'll be glad you got!Free Music Review: Greatest Rock Band Ever!

You could argue that Queen is the greatest rock band ever.They are,im not dissing the other awesome rock bands like The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, ACDC and the Beatles.But they blow me away.This album has all of the great songs by Queen.Including my personal favorites We Are the champions,Bohemian Rhapsody,Killer Queen and Fat Bottomed Girls.I wish that Queens singer hadnt have died because if Queen was still making cds,well that would be awesome.This cd is worth every penny.And its a dual disk.I have this on my Ipod and I cant stop listening.5 stars for the one of the best rock bands ever!
