Free Music Notes for Queen - Greatest Hits

Free Music Review: A great collection
Hit: 5 Stars

This is probably the thing to get for those just starting to get into Queen. This has a lot of the really well-known stuff like "We Will Rock You" and "We are the Champions" and "Another One Bites the Dust" and some other great stuff. This album basically covers the first ten year of Queen's reign. Freddie Mercury is without a doubt the single greatest vocalist of all time, perfect examples can be heard in songs like "Killer Queen" and "Somebody to Love." It is so terribly sad that he died from AIDS, about a year before who I found out who Queen was, and about eight years before I became hooked on them. I have never met anyone who doesn't like Queen, or who doesn't think positive about them. I would reccomend this album to anyone who likes good music, and a lot of great vocals. This is an unbelievable album, and is second only to Innuendo and Classic Queen.

Free Music Review: Queen Greatest Hits & Classic Queen
Hit: 5 Stars

QUEEN: Perhaps the most innovative classic rock band of the 70's and 80's. A veritable smorgasboard of voice, sound, showmanship, and art. Stadiums from Japan to South America are still rocked by "Another One Bites The Dust", "We Will Rock You", and "We Are The Champions" nearly 15 years after Freddie Mercury's death. "Bohemian Rhapsody", #1 when it first hit the charts, then #1 on the charts again 17 or so years later. It blew us away, we had never heard anything like it! We haven't since. The innovative style of Queen shines still in 2005, unequaled. All the songs you remember from radio, live concerts, videos, MTV, and Live Aid are all here in these two albums. From the classic heavy rock sound of "Tie Your Mother Down", to a ditty called "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy", to a fun piece I personally can relate to, "Fat Bottomed Girls". Different styles of music, but all of it from the genius that is QUEEN.

Free Music Review: Betcha Can't Buy Just One!
Hit: 5 Stars

This is the first Queen album I bought, and since then I've bought 4 more! It's true that it doesn't capture THE GREATEST of Queen's fab work, but it's a good introduction if you're just getting to know them. Songs that were huge hits, like "You're MY Best Friend", "Another One Bites The Dust", "We Will Rock You" "We Are The Champions" "Killer Queen", "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy", "Bicycle Race" and all the others sound crystal-clear and catchy. Queen is a rock band legend that just gets better and better with time.

Buy this album, but buy all their other albums too, because when it comes to a band like Queen, one album will never be enough to capture the essence of one of Rock's greatest legends.

Free Music Review: Greatest hits from the Greatest Rock band ever
Hit: 5 Stars

Queen was the greatest rock band ever and the greatest musical act of the 20th century.
This album has most of the same songs as The original Queen Greatest hits album , first released in 1981 , except that it omits the classic rock-opera masterpiece Bohemian Rhapsody , which was included in the Classic Queen album released at the same time , and it includes Queen's erotic-disco hit from 1982 , Body Language.
The debonair Killer Queen (1974)
The rollicking Fat Bottomed Girls (1978)
The laidback You're My Best Friend (1975)
The glam rock Seven Seas of Rhye (1974)
The funky Don't Stop Me Now (1978)
The hypnotic Somebody To Love (1976)
and the whimsical Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy (1976)

Free Music Review: They Have Rocked Us!
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD is essential to all Queen fans. With the exception of the tracks off The Game, the singles Body Language, and I Want to Break Free, this represents the hard rocking Queen complete with the opera-style vocals. It features not only the hits like "We Will Rock You", "We Are the Champions", "Somebody to Love" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", but more obscure songs like "Don't Stop Me Now", "Now I'm Here", "Save Me" (although a hit in the UK), and "The 7 Seas of Rhye". If you were a fan of early Queen, you must own this. Then grab Classic Queen to appreciate their later efforts!
