I'm not going to do a play by play of the album because reviews in general are just opinions so that would be a waste of your time. I will say that this album is very cocky, indulgent, dark, and delicious.

Awesome.. A serious modern rock n roll record. Hard and irreverent.. with some jagged kinda industrial guitars..the playing is seriously tight and smart. Like the cover art suggests it's also funny and quirky.. Havent stopped playing it since it arrived and believe it's prob their best.. Cool as..Free Music Review: their best

I thought it would be tough to top Lullabyes to Paralyze or Songs for the Deaf, but they have done it with Era Vulgaris. This is an album that needs to be listened to as a whole, each song flows so well into the next. You need many listens to appreciate this, so give it a few more listens.Free Music Review: Unreal, QOTSA wins....

"3s and 7s" is the best song Queens has ever written, hands down....if you are a true fan, then get this album now! Honestly I was never a big QOTSA fan. Then I heard the face-melting riffs of "Sick sick sick" and decided to give Era Vulgaris a chance. It's great. I don't know why everyone keeps saying that it takes a while to get into. I was indulged right away. 5 stars.
