Free Music Review: You won't be disappointed if you know what you are getting.

This cd is perfect for anyone who is really into Babylon and the type of music and mixes that seem to be played at Babylon! However, if you are looking for another Queer As Folk soundtrack, to avoid disappointment, make sure you are aware that this is not really a TV Soundtrack for Queer As Folk. This cd goes along well with the actual Babylon club tour that is going on in several locations throughout the US now. The cd is not affiliated with any specific season.
The FIRST DISC is a compilation of club mixes of songs used from various seasons of Queer As folk. They are not the exact mixes used in the show. This disc (as well as the second one) are continuous music mixes, with no track stopping at the ends, all songs mix into each other (similar to the first disc of the Queer As Folk season 3 soundtrack).
The SECOND DISC is a repeat of the style of the first disc, but does not contain songs from the show, rather is along the lines of songs that COULD BE or WOULD HAVE BEEN heard at Babylon. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these songs were/are used on the Babylon tour, however, I cannot say if they are/were.
So, if you are true fan of this show, and enjoy anything really associated with it, than I say you will like this cd and will appreciate it for what it is, a cd of dance club songs. However, if your favorite types of songs used on Queer As Folk have more of a tendency to be from scenes outside of Babylon, you may want to think twice before you purchase.

I would have probably given this Soundtrack 5 stars if I had been able to recognize all the music as being played at some point or another on Queer as Folk. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. Nothing on the second disc really rings a bell with me, and nothing stands out in the second disc, making it kind of boring. However, I have been listening to the first disc over and over in my car, and it makes buying the soundtrack worth it. I recognize most of the songs on the first disc as being from QAF, and I really enjoy disc 1, especially the first 7 songs. If you love everything QAF, I recommend buying the Club Babylon Soundtrack.Free Music Review: Awesome Set!

I thought the first CD was better than the second, although there were cuts on the second CD I liked very much. Having been in my prime in the 80s, I was familiar with most of the music, and took me back to Brussels, Belgium and the club scene there. Dare I say I use these CDs for work outs now LOL. From an old school clubber, I give it 4 thumbs up. Only because there were some dragging tracks on the 2nd CD, and not enough mix in my opinion. Love how Chris Cox mixed the first cd. I have played it over and over. There is only one song that I didn't like "True (the faggot is you). I think he did a fantastic job. A+ Now cd 2 is full of new club songs, but they all seam to have the same sound. Kind of boring D-. If your a fan of good club music and love a really good mixed cd then buy this for the Chris Cox mix on disc one.Free Music Review: Pumpin' compilation

I have this compilation on my music player and use it to boost my spirits at the gym, and it always works. I agree that the first cd takes a bit to warm up especially since the already-mentioned back-to-the-80s song after Ultra Nate (a song I don't really like). A really great circuit music compilation that stands on its own.
