Another entertaining soundtrack by Tarantino - well worth having. I'm curious about the version of the Coasters' "Down In Mexico" though. It's very different from the one on "Very Best of the Coasters." I can't tell if it's just remixed or another version entirely. I hope some R&B expert can comment on that. the version of "Hold Tight!" on this cd is mediocre compared to other version(s) out there.
The song sounds as if you are listening to it on a single speaker radio from the 70's with
the "tone" button turned up too high.
The version I bought, downloaded from Amazon, came from their "Remind" album

The music sounds "Muddy" on my system----not clear like the movie DVD. Could what I bought be a copy of a copy? That is what it sounds like. It was sent from Argentina
Maybe that is the best you can get from those old recordings...
Still fun to listen to.
