Free Music Review: Good album over all

Over all I like the Lost album. I mean, anything that has Brad's voice on it sounds like gold. I was a little dissapointed in the sound quality of Lost. I felt that the guitars drowned out brad's voice to much and had an "overpowered" 80's sound to it. Found on the otherhand, is really good. I felt it was almost like an MTV unplugged version. The tracks What you leave behind and Everyday are classic Delp ballads. The message in those two songs are brad expressing his true feelings. On other reviews people had said that RTZ sounds like Boston but to me I do not hear that except for Brad's voice. RTZ took on their own sound. That's what's such a bummer being a lead singer with such an incredible voice. When you go out on your own as a solo artist or are with another band people are always comparing you to your most known talent with that band. I think Brad would have sounded great with any band playing jazz,gospel even country with pipes like he had he could turn any music into gold.
Lost and Found/Delp and Goudreau Poster
RTZ (Return To Zero) began as a collaboration between singer Brad Delp and guitarist Barry Goudreau (both ex Boston) around 1989. They released two albums in 1991 and 1998. Lost and Found is another step of the collaboration from Brad and Barry. The record is made up of never before released tracks that were recorded before the first RTZ CD. These cuts also feature the other original RTZ members and show the development that lead to the first RTZ release. A must have for Boston fans. As a special bonus to the RTZ CD, we offer the latest step of the partnership between Brad Delp and Barry Goudreau, the album aptly entitled Delp & Goudreau.
