I used to catch Radio Birdman when they played on the northern beaches of Sydney and they were the most energetic in your face jump up and down band getting around. With Younger out front, driven by the searing guitars of Tek and Masuak, some outstanding keyboard work by Hoyle, and being sourrounded by the thumping rhythm section of Gilbert and Keeley, this was one band never to be missed. To catch the boys in a small venue was just ear splitting, pulsating, sweat drenched, euphoria. A night out at the pub was never the same afterwards. This album captures all of their best work and, even if you have never been to their gigs, the music will transcend all that and create your own intimate concert in your head. This band showed what punk, attitude, and most of all, excellent musicianship and songwriting was about. Best of all, the chicks really got into them and you always stood a chance of scoring big time....
