Free Music Notes for Airbag/How Am I Driving? [EP] [Limited Edition]Free Music Review: im too busy to see you youre too busy to wait kxkk hehe Hit: 5 Stars
yeah well it does kickass. starting off with airbag, a wonderful ickle song which seems to be played first live more times than a snail leaves behind skank every day. then theres pearly*, tis good, originally a b-side on one of the uk paranoid android cd singles. meeting in the aisle follows, which is also a uk b-side, apparently its radioheads only instrumental track, so now you know. a reminder is very yummy, but jedi is better, polyethylene [parts 1&2] is also an english b-side (spotting a trend?), yeah ive got it on my funky ickle blue 7" vinyl for paranoid android. anyhow. melatonin,, ok some people hate this song i think, its really very good in my opinion, but yeah jedis still better. palo alto is good to put on repeat.
Free Music Review: The modern Pink Floyd, easy! Hit: 5 Stars
Most of these tracks where what was left off of OK Computer, and they all would be smash hits on any normal bands feature album. Polyethylene (part 1 and 2) could easily establish any band, yet its a "left over" from a allready great album by easily the most artistic and talented band since Pink Floyd. While that may be a lofty comparision, the boys from Oxford certainly live up to the legacy. Every track opn this mini-album is well worth any effort to obtain this CD. Most certainly a must for any person who has tracked the progress of one of the most talented bands around. Thom Yorke is the 90's Bono, with a lyrical and vocal talent rarely seen. Buy this CD, or at least listen to it, your life will be better!
Free Music Review: Fabulous B-Sides Album Worth the Money for a True Fan Hit: 5 Stars
Any die-hard Radiohead fan should add this to the collection. Yes, they are songs that didn't make the cut for OK Computer, but hey, it's Radiohead and it's 7 bucks.
Meeting in the Aisle is probably my favorite, even though it's all instrumental. Pearly is an interesting song and Thom's voice sounds awesome on it. I had to listen to A Reminder over and over because every time I listen to it I derive some new meaning from it. Polyethylene is pretty to listen to. Palo Alto is a just a classic b-side any Radiohead obsessive like me needs to have.
The album art is also really interesting, complete with excerpts from Noam Chomsky. I do wonder why they billed this album as "aimed at the USA".
Free Music Review: Excellent cd Hit: 5 Stars
Radiohead has switched things around once again. This selection has much more rock-style guitar on it than ok Computer, much the style of the song "Electioneering" on that album, although much more distorted. "Polyethelyne parts 1 & 2" are worth the nine dollars alone, but are by no means the only songs on the album. If you don't yet own ok Computer (and what the hell is your deal if you don't), "Airbag" is a great song, and "Pearly*" and "Palo Alto" are also very good. It's not the stellar recording that ok Computer or The Bends is, but it is certainly worth it. It will tide you over until the next Radiohead album.
Free Music Review: It just plain rocks Hit: 5 Stars
This is Radiohead at its best. The group has definitely brushed up on its talents, which is hard to do in following up "OK Computer." One of the best tracks on the "Airbag/How am I Driving?" has to be "Meeting in the Aisle." This instrumental song is a very deep mysterious one. "Pearly" is another great track on the album. "Palo Alto" gives hard-driving beats. This mini-album "aimed at the USA" is definitely one to get, even if you're not a Radiohead fan. The only negative aspect of the album is its length. It's definitely too short an album for Radiohead to showcase all its talents. But the album is still flawless.
