Free Music Review: once again, radiohead
Hit: 5 Stars

Ok, let's try to summarize it all. Pablo Honey, I thought it was kind of REM like. The Bends, kind of U2 like. Then came Ok Computer, and I thought: this is pure radiohead. But when I saw this mini cd aimed at the USA (and I wonder why...) in a shop window, I asked myself whether it meant to begin from the start. Yes, it did mean exactly that. Because 'Pearly' is fantastic. Because listening to 'Meeting in the aisle', I forgot about the past. And 'A reminder' sounds like real poetry. I wonder where the hell else are radiohead going. I'm going to follow them, anyway.

Free Music Review: Airbag / How Am I Driving - Radiohead
Hit: 5 Stars

An obscure single or an underground EP. However you view the Radiohead single "Airbag / How am I driving" it is sublime. Thom Yorke's effortless vocals reach peaks that no other voice can and the relative obscurirty of the piece makes it al the more satisfying to own. Needless to say Radiohead mix heartbreaking lyrics with an effotless tone that only they can produce. Despite having no "big singles" on the EP it is more than enough to keep real fans entertained. This is a piece of music that every Radiohead fan should own.

Free Music Review: Beautiful
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD will take a while to settle in...once it does, it will grab you. The songs keep you listening, Thom's voice is entrancing. The guitar is masterful. Meeting In The Aisle is beautiful, a song that you can't quite grasp, it slips away just when you think you had it. Polyethylene (parts 1 and 2) is also well composed, and the whole band has done it again. Everything is intense and melancholic. The guitar riffs, though a bit blurry, sound great. The effect that they have (on the songs that apply) give it great and added character.

Free Music Review: Some of my favorite b-sides
Hit: 5 Stars

A great Ep for anyone who enjoys Radiohead. Airbag contains some of my favorite RH b-sides in Pearly* and Polyethylene.

Pearly* has a great riff, and strange lyrics. A Reminder and Melatonin is pretty good too, not their best work but listenable. Meeting In the Aisle is boring, I usually like insturmentals though. Palo Alto is quirky and would've fit in perfectly on Ok Computer. Polyethylene is one of RH best songs and will bring you back to listen to this EP.

Great buy considering the price.

Free Music Review: The History of the Drivers
Hit: 5 Stars

This single is another step Radiohead has taken in the right direction. Dont buy it for Airbag, it doesnt even belong on the EP. After OK Computer was made, the producers said: "okay, that is that, then. Well, Thom, have you anything more to say?" Thom looks up and says, "Yes. I believe I do." Then, with one, fluent, continous breath of emotion, puts forth the the singular statement:How am I Driving? Thom, and all you boys at Radiohead, you are driving just fine.
