Free Music Notes for OK ComputerFree Music Review: Exceeds Far Beyond OK Hit: 5 StarsRadiohead is a band that never falls short when releasing an album. They always deliver something new and fresh that's produced to the absolute perfection. Ok Computer has a certain feel to it as does the other albums in their portfolio. The feel is slow and mellow and you will want to stay in its world
Airbag- Not my particular favorite due to the electric guitar riffs, but a good song none the less.
Paranoid Android-One of the best songs. It feels very similar to "Knives Out" from Amnesiac, but its also a great original song.
Subterranean Homesick Alien-Continuing the mellow element, the song is a trip. Maybe something good to fall asleep to.
Exit Music(For a Film)-I've listened to this song a million songs. It is very sad but I love the hell out of it. I wish I could see it as an exit song for a film.
Let Down- About the same Caliber as "Subterranean Homesick Alien". It's an ok song off of OK Computer.
Karma Police- The single off of the album that I feel escapes the overall tone, but it's a song that most of the world can enjoy if they don't particularly delve too deep into Radiohead's head.
Electioneering- It's a different style for Radiohead. I like it, but we all probably won't be listening to this one a lot.
Climbing Up the Walls- All the last songs are winners. They start off with this song that really succeeds in making me feel like I'm really climbing up a wall. Perfect choice of title.
No Suprises- Like I said, all the last ones rock, and "No Suprises" is a great example of how Radiohead can take us down under into sadness, and then bring us back up again with a hopefull song. Not a lot of bands can do that and I've found a lot of respect for Radiohead through this change of pace.
Lucky- My favorite song. Makes me think of epic moments and incredible tragedies. Best song on the album.
The Tourist- Radiohead always has interesting exiting songs. This one is very appropriate. I like how jazzy it feels and how inventive it is.
Go Radiohead! Nothing is holding you back. After all it is albums like these that make us beg for more. If you enjoyed this I reccomend Amnesiac and In Rainbows.
OK Computer Poster Radiohead Photos More from Radiohead Hail To The Thief | The Bends | Kid A | Pablo Honey | Amnesiac | I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings | Radiohead's third album got compared to Pink Floyd a lot when it came out, and its slow drama and conceptual sweep certainly put it in that category. OK Computer, though, is a complicated and difficult record: an album about the way machines dehumanize people that's almost entirely un-electronic; an album by a British "new wave of new wave" band that rejects speed and hooks in favor of languorous texture and morose details; a sad and humanist record whose central moment is Thom Yorke crooning "We hope that you choke." Sluggish, understated, and hard to get a grip on, OK Computer takes a few listens to appreciate, but its entirety means more than any one song. --Douglas Wolk
