Free Music Notes for Baby BelugaFree Music Review: Fun kids' music Hit: 5 Stars
The first time I heard Baby Beluga, I thought it was a sweet song, and one that I could listen to repeatedly without wanting to throw myself off a cliff. Both thoughts have turned out to continue to be true, and I know because my 2 yr old has insisted on listening to "Bee-looga!" over and over and over again. My husband and I happily sing along with Raffi on this and all the songs on the CD, and I have never once regretted introducing it to my family.
Free Music Review: Beautiful Memories Hit: 5 Stars
I have ALL of the Raffi recordings--at least all the ones that were available on record when I was three years old in 1984. My roommate and I discovered that we both grew up listening to Raffi, and so she brought back an old tape, and we listened and sang along together! I always liked Baby Beluga, but I think Morningtown Ride is the most beautiful lullabye ever written. My mom used to sing it to me at night.
Free Music Review: A Song In My Heart Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this for my children after listening to a lot of sample albums here at Amazon.com, this is the one I kept coming back to.
Of course my children love this, the sort of surprising thing is that I (The Mom) also really love this. Raffi has a very nice voice, the music isn't jarring at all and some of the songs are a bit familiar. This album creates a nice atmosphere.
Free Music Review: A lifesaver! Hit: 5 Stars
Well, sure...the songs became a wee bit tedious after hearing them for the one millionth time, but during my little boy's colicky first 5 months, Raffi's pleasant voice and relaxing songs were the practically the only thing that would sooth him (not to mention his parents!). Now that he is a little older, we still play Raffi...and I still get a big smile whenever he hears "Baby Beluga".
Free Music Review: Incredibly Wonderful!! Hit: 5 Stars
My son LOVED this CD growing up. Baby Beluga became one of his goodnight songs. We sang it more times than I can remember. We trained his babysitter to sing it. Now, many years later, the babysitter is having a baby. At her baby shower she told me how much she was looking forward to singing Baby Beluga to her child. So, I am back to buy another copy. What a wonderful tradition to pass on.
