I'm not the first to say how this has entertained my daughter for hours on end. I just hit replay and she is in the playroom singing and having a ball. Baby Beluga is her all time favorite song ( and she's a huge Laurie Berkner fan) and as I understand from her teachers it has been for children everywhere for 20 years. This CD is wonderful. I listened to it over 10 years ago as a Babysitter and knew I had to get it when I had children. So, it was the first children's music cd I bought. Raffi is blessed with the gift of creating great music that both young and old appreciate. The lyrics are catchy and one song is in french. Baby Beluga and Oats and Beans and Barley are our two favorite songs.Free Music Review: Jumping on the bed

My sons are now grown, but we enjoyed Baby Beluga greatly over the years. It's a great song for jumping on the bed. Adults can stand this music over and over. Raffi's music reminds me of Mr. Rogers; it has a simple and kind way about it. Like a previous reviewer, even after all these years, Baby Beluga occasionally pops into my head. Raffi's Baby Beluga CD is a gift that new parents will appreciate. Memories of my own children enjoying the music (on a cassette tape) when they were young gave me the idea to add it to a baby gift to this current generation of new parents. Raffi's song lyrics will be remembered long after the children are grown. I can't wait to sing along with the children of my children!Free Music Review: Lots of Fun!

We love this CD. The songs are great and lots of fun to sing along with. It pleasantly surprised me that although these songs were recorded in 1980, they don't sound 80's. I would recommend buying this book along with it for even more fun! Baby Beluga (Raffi Songs to Read)
